I had an amazing experience with the Sam Ivy company. Prior to training, my 6 year old dog was having issues with pulling on the leash, chasing squirrels, barking at other dogs, and becoming overexcited and jumping on people. I worked with the trainer Gina, who was incredibly understanding and knowledgeable about my dog’s issues. We worked together to implement tools that over the course of several weeks, completely changed my dogs behavior. Since the training, I have had no more issues with her pulling, barking, and getting overexcited. I highly recommend Sam Ivy and Gina.

We recently completed a training program with SamIvy for our dog, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Our trainer, Hollie Kepschull was patient, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. She helped my dog learn the basics of good manners walking calmly on a leash, staying focused and be more attentive to commands. She gave us the tools and confidence to keep reinforcing those skills at home. The sessions were clear, engaging, and tailored to our dog’s needs. Nick is an incredibly talented and patient trainer. He helped us turn our very excitable, reactive dog, Ollie, into an obedient, calm dog who actually listens to us! Nick was always available via phone calls and texts during his days off, and he truly cared about our progress. He never failed to check in after a session and always gave immediate, actionable feedback. I have to admit that I was skeptical that Ollie could be trained as he is almost 4-years-old, but this program truly works! I feel the utmost confidence that Nick provided us with the knowledge and tools to continue our work with Ollie and any dogs we may have in the future.

We have been working with our trainer through Sam & Ivy to address our dog’s reactivity and ensure he interacts with other dogs in a safe, non-dominant way. The training has also reinforced that we’re the ones leading the pack. Each session has been informative and effective—we’re seeing a noticeable transformation. Our dog is calmer, more responsive, and much easier to manage. Highly recommend!
