I highly recommend Sam Ivy K9 Consultants! This training was life changing for both my family and our dogs Rocco and Bella. Jackie (from Sam Ivy) trained both of my dogs with very different behavioral issues. My rescue dog Rocco had aggression issues from living on the streets of Miami. He is a large, muscular and very strong dog. He showed aggression towards people, cars, bicycles, and anything that moved. Taking him for a walk, to the vet, or anywhere was physically and mentally draining as I had to struggle to keep him under control. My neighbors were terrified of him and would go into their homes if we were walking down the street. Jackie taught me how to train him in the “Proper Pack Behavior” course which focused on the bad behaviors. He has been taught the behavior that is expected of him and he looks to me for direction when he is in a stressful situation where he used to lash out aggressively. He is truly a changed dog. He is much more relaxed and happier. Rocco also participated in the “On Leash Training” course and learned numerous new useful commands. My other rescue dog Bella had obedience issues. She was always very spoiled and had developed into a very stubborn dog. She would not listen when instructed and developed unacceptable behaviors. Jackie worked with us to show her commands in the “On Leash Training” course. The results have been very positive. Her behavior has changed where she has learned that we are the boss and that she needs to listen to our commands. She has learned numerous commands that we use on a regular basis. I tried numerous other trainers and training methods with both Rocco and Bella but none of them were successful. Jackie did a great job of explaining the training, what was required of us to be successful and corrected us if we were doing something incorrectly. She really gave us the tools to deal with any future training issues and to reinforce the training through out Rocco’s and Bella’s lives.
