Gina is an excellent trainer! We did proper pack training with Bella. We did spot training and leash training. I never used to be able to walk her on a leash; she would pull and go in all directions. Now she walks next to me with no problems! We also worked on her barking. She now hardly barks at all at the doorbell. I would definitely recommend Sam Ivy to anyone looking to properly train their furry friends!

We began looking for a trainer for our 6 month old blue heeler, Kona because we were getting ready to move to Colorado and we wanted her to be better with listening to us and obeying our commands when on hikes, out on the lake, etc. She was never a bad dog to begin with but she pulled on the leash when we walked and thought it was a game when we would try to get her to come inside from the backyard. Though Sam Ivy training was a bit pricy, we felt it would be a good investment if it meant not having to worry about our dog's safety when outdoors. We were very lucky to have Alexis as our trainer. Kona instantly took to her and would always get excited to see her, she really seemed to want to make her proud. Alexis was very easy to talk to and helped guide us with how to gain Kona's respect. She explained the reasoning behind everything we were doing and was very flexible with our schedule. Kona became a much better listener as a result of our training and I would recommend Sam Ivy to anyone who wants to take their dog's training seriously.

This is seriously the best money I have ever spent! I was having behavioral issues with my dog and really needed help. I found Sam Ivy K-9 Consultants and couldn't believe how great the reviews were, so I decided to give them a call. Once I started working with my consultant Miguel, the changes in my dog were almost immediate. One of the issues I had was my dog would take off running down the neighborhood if he got the chance and of course I would have to chase him down. My dog had actually gotten away from me a few days after our training had started and when I called him, he stopped immediately and came back! That's when I knew this was going to work. We just finished Advanced Off-Leash Obedience and I can't begin to explain the feeling of walking a dog in public places around people and distractions without a leash. The relationship I now have with my dog is better than I ever thought it could be. My only regret is not calling them years ago.

Bleu and I just completed proper pack behavior and intermediate on leash training. This was the best experience I have ever had. Gina was our trainer and she made this the best experience for us. She was very attentive and went above and beyond to make sire we learned everytging we needed. Bleu and I drove to Boston and if it wasnt for Gina, she woupd have been in her crate but because she learned how to lay on conmmend she was able to ride in the front all 26hrs!! I recommend Sam Ivy K9 training to everyone that needs help with training their fur babies or with training fur parents!!!!!
