Working with Sam Ivy was an amazing experience. We started the program when we adopted a new rescue puppy who was a bigger breed that was constantly jumping and pulling on the lease when we walked towards other dogs.
Having a 6 year old Pomeranian already, we knew that we needed to train him early to make sure we could control the behavior before he got too big.
We searched online and found the excellent reviews of Sam Ivy. We had an initial consultation which explained a lot of our unknown misconceptions on dog training and how we interact with our pups. It was an easy sell and we were in!
Sam Ivy paired us with Ryann (our trainer) who did an incredible job of teaching US exactly how to train our puppies with proper pack behavior. She arranged bi-weekly meetings at our house and within the first week we saw amazing results (even to our 6 year old Pomeranian).
By the end of training, our dogs were completely different, respected our commands, respected us, but still stayed the same amazing, fun loving dogs.
I wanted to leave a true and honest review of our experience with Sam Ivy, as we were new to dog training, but wouldn't recommend anyone else!

After buying a second dog the competition for Alpha status began and the aggression reached an unacceptable level to the point that my wife and I had each been bitten several times while trying to separate the fighting dogs. We needed serious help to the point of thinking that we should return the newest dog. We found the help we needed with Sam Ivey K-9 Consultants. An initial review from Consultant Enzo confirmed that help was necessary and he assured us that the Sam Ivey training would make a difference. Wow! What a difference. Success! The aggression is gone and the entire household experience has improved dramatically including the interaction of the two dogs with our two cats. Our amazing Trainer Ariel worked with our schedule and has obtained phenomenal results. The Sam Ivey training conducted by Ariel has literally changed our lives! We recommend the Sam Ivey Team very highly!

We are so thankful for Sam Ivy! We got Claudia for our trainer and couldn’t be more grateful for all her patience and understanding in training our 10 month old German Shepherd dog Leila. Leila started out all over the place, jumping on people and barking at anything, basically untrained. Now, she’s a completely different dog, all thanks to Claudia! We are so glad we called them. This was the best decision after adopting our dog that we made.
