I can say when I first went in in January everyone was nice and helpful. I would have given a 5 star review but here are the details of my experience as I cannot speak for all. 2 stars are for Doctor Uong and the first pair of glasses. First pair of glasses no problem they were ready on time for me to travel by February took about 2 weeks. The progressives lenses seemed to be good and worked well. Second pair was not ready because they told me the lenses did not fit the glasses properly and had to be redone. When the second pair was done I went in and tried them on. The lenses were fine but the frame was painful on the side of my head. No matter the adjustment it was not working for me. I was told I would be allowed to pick another frame so I did. The glasses were done in 2 weeks but I was told they were flawed and had to go back to the lab. Then a few days week later the glasses were ready. When I tried them the frames were comfortable but there was a big problem with the lenses. I think they decided not the send the glasses because right away when i put them on I did see the chromatic aberration around the numbers on the office chart. I was a professional photographer so I do know about lenses there are cheaper lenses then there are top of the line. What I paid for was top of the line. At least I thought that is what I paid for. I was told that different people see different things, maybe but that is not true it is this case. I had a several people try them on and they all agreed they saw the red rim/halo around objects and letters in certain lights. The colors outside were not right either and the lenses were out of focus when I tried to wear them. One other problem with the lenses is they were super thin on top and very thick on the bottom coke bottle bottom potato chip top more or less. I was told it was because I picked out a larger frame. I asked if the frame would be a problem when I picked them out because they were bigger than the ones I first ordered and I was told there should not be a problem. Well there was. I drove home from the doctors office and the glasses were fuzzy no matter where I looked. The colors totally off they were bright with a yellow cast, out of focus and I was seeing red rims or halos around trees and objects. I also got a headache in back of my eyes. I took them off about halfway home. I went back and told Uongs Eyecare my issues, I was told some people have issues with a bigger lense. I had a bigger pair of Chanels and a very narrow pair with progressives and I did not have this issue. Anyway since they said the lab would not redo the lenses without payment they offered me my money back on the frames $360 and I agreed as no one admitted the lens were at fault. The week I had the glasses I took them to 3 different places and they said the lenses were not the best quality. The glasses were not so big that could have caused a problem. When a person goes in they should be told the pros and cons and the frame should fit right when you try them on like a glove without major adjustments. Now will I recommend getting glasses here that is all up to the individual. This was my experience. Like I said in the beginning the first pair of glasses and frames worked out well. Not every place works out well for everyone.
