This veterinary service has been the cause of many problems for us. Firstly, we have been long-time customers of this practice, due to its ideal location for us. Surely one would expect a little kind-hearted welcome from the front desk lady? Not here. The woman that works at the front desk is downright rude, and was not hesitant in cancelling our appointment after us having the courtesy to call and say that we might be a few minutes late, as our cat was reluctant to come in from outside. Upon arriving at the establishment, we were greeted with; "You have completely missed your appointment", a comment that escalated the situation to the veterinary surgeon also telling us we couldn't be seen, having now waited 20 minutes! (He was also extremely rude and irate.) We are always made to wait at least ten minutes for an appointment, which as far as we are concerned is normal procedure. Secondly, this very same veterinary surgery a year ago mis-diagnosed our cat with having a "mental issue, perhaps, previous trauma", when we took her in with watery eyes. They "could not understand what was wrong with her". So they sent us to a 'specialist' who took our cat from us for a few days for some scans. Two days later, they returned our cat in the exact same condition, stating that they, too, did not know what was wrong with her, and charged us a £3,100 bill for the courtesy of having her there. (She was a rescue cat and not insured.) Due to the people that work here, we have lost this crippling amount. Three days later she was fine. Conclusively, they are a somewhat rude and seemingly uncaring establishment, and even though they are geographically ideal or us, we will be taking our cat elsewhere, and we suggest that you do the same. Even now, we are still shocked by this horrendous experience.

GP's are great. Didn't get a call or email back for request. Sorry, made a mistake on my first review. I meant Vets, not GP's. Secondly my reply to the answer from the Goddard Veternary Practice. Yes, I meant this Practice. I recently moved abroad and that's why my other reviews are for places abroad.

I'm a veterinary nurse myself but have nothing to do with Park Vets and I don't personally know any of the staff. I wanted to say a huge thank you to Peter and all the staff after they saw my lizard following a mis-diagnosis and very poor service at another practice. The reception and nurses were friendly and attentive and most importantly Peter correctly examined and treated my Beardie who is now in recovery! The nurse on duty even offered a heat pad once my lizard arrived as we'd had a long journey in the car...these little touches make all the difference and I'd like to say thank you again! I always refer my own clients to this practice if they have exotics and will continue to do so.

First choice especially if you have rabbits.... I cannot recommend Tim, Peter and the team enough if you have rabbits. I moved out of the area but still travel to visit them as other vets I tried just don’t have the same level of experience. They recently saved my bun with emergency surgery for which I will be forever grateful. Lovely to see them interacting with their other patients who actually seem happy to go to the Vets!!

Amazing practice. Great staff who really care and take the time to get to know you and your pet(s). It's rare to find a practice with such good knowledge and care for rabbits.

We have known Tim and Co for 30 years! They are professional, approachable and empathetic. Many a time you feel like turning into a cat or a dog to be in their loving care :) Thank you so much.
