I have been using Hawthorne for over 15 years. Their quality of work has always been exemplary. You may find cheaper but you won't find better.
They done a variety of repairs over thg he years from minor to major. On the major end, they have my AC and Heating units, installed an air purification system, new service free water softener, new hot water heaters.
Their plumbers and AC guys are all very competent and quick and efficient about their work. They are also respectful and courteous. I have always been comfortable with them in my home and they have had to be there for extended periods of time on some jobs. I have truly found that to be a priceless advantage of using their services,
I have had a service contract with them for many years and it is worth every penny.
Last year when I was replacing my AC units, I called a few places for estimates. Goettl never even returned my call and Ivwss looking to get a new water softener as well. 2 jobs and I couldn't get past a screening call.
The Hawthorne HVAC representative came out and provided me with 8 different estimates at varying prices. He is also the only one that went into my attic to inspect things.
At 3 am on 06/11/22 (a Saturday), I discovered my ceiling was leaking water in a room downstairs. The person who fielded the call couldn't have been nicer and more patient because I was panicked.
The on call plumber (Jessie) called me right away and was at my house by 4 am. He quickly identified the issue; explained what he had to do and too care of business. He was done in a little over an hour. Very polite but focused on his work. He helped me cover my property and furniture in that room so it wouldn't be damaged during the repair.
He advised that I needed to contact a water reclamation company to check for mold and other hazards, before repairing the hole in my ceiljng. I would not have known that if he didn't tell me. Others might but I didn't!
Never been more grateful for Hawthore and their staff than yesterday at 3 am on a weekend!
I WISH TO ADD TO THIS AS I'VE HAD ANOTHER UNEXPECTED REPAIR. NONE OF US NEED OUR HOT WATER HEATER TO DIE. IT'S EXPENSIVE AND NEVER WELCOME.
IT HAPPENED TO ME OTHER DAY AT THE WORSE POSSIBLE TIME! I'LL SPARE YOU THOSE DETAILS.
BUT ONCE AGAIN HAWTHORNE COMES THROUGH FOR ME! THE GENERAL MANAGER (ANGEL) ACTUALLY CAME TO MY HOME,AS BUSY AS HE IS, TO HELP ME MAP OUT A FINANCIAL AND REPAIR PLAN!
I'M SO RELIEVED AND GRATEFUL! HE FIELDED MANY PHONE CALLS TO RESOLVE OTHER ISSUES AND NEVER MADE ME FEEL UNIMPORTANT!
I TRULY LOVE THESE PEOPLE AND ALL THEY'VE DONE FOR ME! I KNOW I'M GUARANTEED QUALITY WORK AND SERVICE!!
11/13/22 Yet another update. I didn't want to erase the above because those reviews was s were valid.
I recently had a tankless hot water heater installed. It's quite the process for those who are not familiar and it takes quite a bit of intricate and painstaking work by the plumbers. The lead plumber, Chtis Arrellano, has hung in there with me and been so patient and professional, even when I haven't been patient and am sure I was annoying. He has worked long hours to finish this project and never once looked at a clock.
Chris' work even was praised by the City Inspector. He noted that no short cuts were taken and the person responsible clearly took pride in their work. Nice thing to hear as a consumer!
Angel Martinez continues to be a true angel and takes great care of me. He makes me feel like my issues and home are important. And not just with nice words but actions. He's kept every word and promise.
Had my heating units winterized recently. The staff even moved me up a day. Eric and Andrew took great care of me as they always do.
They make me feel important and taken care of!!
I will use no one else but Hawthorne. I trust them and have faith in their work. That's priceless to me
