my friend took his dog to the surgery recently the bill was higher than expected , as his friend I paid half of the bill. 2 days later I was phoned asking me to pay the rest My friend had just paid somewhat what over the odds to have his other old dog put to sleep a few days previously. I experienced that both myself and my friend were being harassed unnecessarily and cruelly for the remainder of the money within literally a couple of days. My friend always always pays his bills, he is also bereaved. Reception staff were tactless and needs some customer care training ; remember it is not just about the money.
