If you want highly knowledgeable, professional, kind, attentive and genuine people that sincerely care about the welfare of your pet then I urge you to use Richard and his team at Goddard Gidea Park. I cannot thank them enough for their patience, knowledge and understanding with our anxious Working Cocker Spaniel. Barclay had a very harrowing experience at 16 weeks of age with a vet who cleaned the inside of his ears so forcefully that he cried out in pain and fear on a number of occasions. Ever since then we have understandably struggled to get near Barclay's ears and he point blank refuses to go near any vet- until he met Richard. This man appears to have Dr Dolittle abilities as he managed to win Barclay over almost immediately and he now pulls on his lead to get through the practice door which is a total miracle. He still freaks out when anyone tries to clean his ears but the veterinary assistants are unending in their calm and caring perseverance in winning Barclay over. They even told me to pop in with Barclay between appointments so he can have a fuss made of him to give him the confidence and reassurance that the practice isn't a place where he'll be hurt but rather somewhere he'll be loved and cuddled. I don't know another practice or team of people that would go the extra mile like these guys have done. We have also just had Barclay neutered which was an overwhelming success and again the care shown to Barclay was exemplary. Thank you guys for all your help and understanding, if I could give you a million stars I would.
