Wow! This place is the place to be! Yesterday was my first time ever experiencing this restaurant. My wife and I ordered starters, entrees and dessert with drinks. The drinks came out first, and right away we could taste how light and refreshing our drink were. I order the citrus Margarita and my wife ordered strawberry (I think). They were both amazing! Next up! Starters and entrees! The food tasted clean and refreshing. ..
Our Server was Tang, and him and his team brought of our orders in a timely manner. We were able to work through our courses with time to chat, and then the order course followed without much delay time! These people know perfect timing! They belong in the service industry!
The other staff that brought out our food and drink were equally as pleasant to interact with. They didn’t only put the food down and go.. they checked in, which made it feel like there like there was a super tight team work happening.
I loved the environment and I can’t wait to go back and bring my boys with me!

While being in the area for an impromptu visit, I was greatly impressed when stopping by True Food for a delightful afternoon meal.
Offering healthy, affordable, and filling meals comprised of quality ingredients and flavors, the food options all seem enticing, and I left with the impression that I would have been satisfied ordering any menu item.
The staff were friendly and helpful in providing their service. While being seated outside, my party never felt abandoned and were always given routine check-ins to see how we were enjoying our meal.
Overall, True Food is a restaurant that those in the area should certainly consider when in need of a meal. If I'm ever back in Gaithursburg, I'd love to return to this location.

If I could give this restaurant 25 stars, I would. This evening, we visited True Food Kitchen in the Rio section of Gaithersburg, MD. It has everything going for it. Let’s begin with service. Our waiter, Andre, was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We both had the Korean steak, which was sumptuous and prepared perfectly. Our moderately priced red wine was served at the correct, cool “room temperature.” We sat outside alongside the lake in a charming setting. Music was played at a level that allows you to talk and listen to others at your table. Each restroom is private, attractive, and clean; though the doors are heavy and require some effort to open. The restaurant has an open kitchen that prepares meals with fresh ingredients. Kudos to everyone who works here. We will be back.

Amazing, fresh, delicious food . Nice open modern concept interior, is refreshing as well and adds to the mood at the restaurant while food makes the restaurant visit a memory and would make you go back again.

Food was delicious. When we were seated, they told us something about the menu being irritant free or something to that effect, with it having no rice or something. I didn't understand what they were talking about, but it didn't matter - the food was delicious. The cauliflower with dates was amazing, as was the Grilled Chicken and Mozarella Panini (though it was more of a quesadilla than a panini). They don't have fountain sodas like coke or pepsi, so be prepared for that. I'd separately eaten some of their catering so I've had a chance to try the chicken wrap and the chocolate chip cookies (which I think use banana as a binder since there's no eggs). The cookies were amazing, too. I don't understand what allergens they're avoiding with the no-rice thing but the food was good either way.

Contemporary, forward-thinking establishment that boasts scrumptious plates that are organic, vegan, non-vegan, and everything in between. The flatbreads are a Yes; the Brunch Menu options never cease to impress!
True Foods at this particular location is somewhat new, so it’s important to make a reservation in advance.
Drinks are made with organic spirits and are as aesthetically appealing as they are easily-consumed!
Staff was knowledgeable, courteous and attentive. I loved how no two colleagues wore the same citrus printed button down. Keep up the good work and I look forward to having more experiences here in the near future!

Went there with a friend on a Friday night, restaurant was busy, but we got seated within minutes. I ordered the Beefy Burger and my friend the Turkey burger, From start to finish, it was a great experience, waiters and staff are very polite and friendly, food was tasty and prices were reasonable. Only negative thing was the buns used were not fresh and were cold and hard to chew, other than that, highly recommend this place.

Great Googly Moogly! I went for the pre-opening event and was left speechless by the tasty cocktail and entree I got to enjoy. I went back today for takeout and I already want more of what I ordered the next time I get to stop by.

Absolutely LOVED our experience on grand opening night!! Nichole was a fantastic server and she was great with recommendations. She had a lot of personality and enhanced our experience beyond just the fantastic food. AND the bartender made the best jalapeño margarita I’ve ever had! We will definitely be back and will certainly be asking for Nichole!
