We went for a senior team meeting with ten people and practically ten different dietary restrictions. We ordered our dishes and nine out of ten hit it out of the park. The grains bowl was a hit. I had the meatloaf and it was delicious with a mushroom au jus sauce (the carrots were too sweet with some unnecessary glaze). The poke bowl was another hit. The only disappointment was the pizza - roast butternut squash - the comment was it was like "eating cardboard and dried out vegetables." However that will not stop us from coming back. To bring a diverse group like ours and have so many great dishes is a rare treat. True Food Kitchen delivers!

The food was great. I had no idea a restaurant as healthy and vibrant was right down the street! The taste was not something I would expect, but was thrilled to be proven wrong! Yordie was excellent! Her sunny disposition made our party feel welcome and taken care of. I will absolutely be back because I'm adding to regular rotation of favorites.

I visited this restaurant about a few days ago, and might I say that our service was exceptional! Our waiter was Yordie and she was extremely friendly and made our overall experience AMAZING! She took the time out to help me and my family figure out what we wanted to eat as she gave great recommendations! The food was flavorful, and the menu is diverse! I highly recommend this place and make sure you get Yordie as your server! My family and I will definitely be back!

Delicious food!! We loved everything that they served - from beverages to entree. Good choices for those who are vegans and vegetarians. Serving size is good, and very filling as it was rich in fiber….Which is why we were not able to go in for dessert. Happy with the healthy food they serve

I tried this place for the first time last week with a few friends not expecting anything too much, but left in awe. First off, the food was very fresh, flavorful and beyond my expectations. However, what really stood out to me was the exceptional service by our waitress Yordanos. Such a kind person that personalized our time at true food kitchen as if we were someone she had known for years! I am personally a picky eater so she took the time to work with me through the menu to ensure that I picked the best option for me. Her communication with us throughout our wait was more than I’ve ever received from a waitress which was truly appreciated. Overall, I would rate my experience a 9/10 because of the combination of impeccable atmosphere, food and service, definitely would recommend!

Have been there 4 times and love that my whole family has tons of options. They are very knowledgeable about food allergies and my experience has been outstanding every single time! This is my new favorite restaurant.

We went to the Gaithersburg location. What a cute restaurant! It is decorated super cute and provides excellent ambiance. The menu is full of creative and healthy options at really great prices. I had the burrito bowl and my husband had the teriyaki bowl with salmon. The food was prepared perfectly! We both thought our dishes had so much good flavor and texture. Jayna was a burst of sunshine with an extremely cheerful and pleasant personality. She had great suggestions, was super knowledgeable about the menu, and she provided outstanding service. I can't wait to come back and try more options off the menu. It was hard to choose as everything on the menu looks healthy and delicious!

True food is not my favorite restaurant, didn’t really find too much i enjoyed on the menu (foods great, I’m just a very picky eater) but the service was impeccable. Our server yordie was so gracious, funny, and welcoming. We had the best time with her and she really made the experience. She needs a raise!
