it is our second year going to big bear last year we stayed at the NutE House near snow summit and had the best experience however this year was a little different we stayed at another cabin and we had a horrible experience with this cabin but we told our problem with the manager Chris , and in a fast manner they were able to provide us with a better cabin that was actually 300$ more than what we payed and the fee was covered . i loved how they took care of the situation and they were polite definitely would come back.

We had a wonderful family time at this cabin. It fit us perfectly. The large kitchen and dining table let us cook most of our meals and having a tv in each bedroom and a game room was great for the kids. The jacuzzi was a big plus and so was the barbeque. Thanks for a fun trip!!

My Family and I had an incredible weekend getaway. Beautiful cabin so cozy and comfortable with all the comforts of home. Incredible location with in walking distance to everything.
Scenic snow covered mountain views. We can't wait to return. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They make sure you have everything you need for your vacation.

We stayed at 1779 "The Good Life". The home is located close to town and blocks from Snow Summit. Although we never had to leave. Their was just enough of a slope in the backyard to sled and play in the snow. The home is large with plenty of living space. We had 4 adults and 5 kids(ages 1.5 to 7 yrs old) and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The home is clean and well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, silverware, glasses, pots & pans, and knives. We do recommend bringing trash bags, paper towels, and a cookie sheet(if you plan to use the oven). BBVR was great! the hot tub was only half full and cold when we arrived. BBVR sent someone over right away to get it up and running for us. We will be staying here again.

Big Bear Vacations is awesome. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. I have always used them, but decided to check the other sites vrbo/airbnb etc... Not only were they higher priced, you would never get the same level of customer service. I booked one cabin, changed to another the next day and ultimately upgraded when we finally arrived and it was all easy with exceptional customer service. I happened to book the weekend of a huge storm and they sent out text messages to all their customers offering to cancel due to road conditions with no charge. That would never have happened on the other sites. Safety is their primary concern. I will definitely only use them in the future and refer everyone who asks me directly to them.

Luxury Mountain Getaway and Big Bear Vacations really delivered. We have had the experience where the pictures are 10 years out of date and what you rented was not what was shown on-line. In this case, the property was even nicer than expected. The service from Big Bear Vacations was very professional and the process was seamless. Especially liked not needing to go back to their office on check-out.
To any considering Big Bear Vacations and especially, the Luxury Mountain Getaway. I could not give a better recommendation.
