The reservation process and confirmation process with Big Bear Vacations was easy and straight forward. I loved the fact that there were not any hidden fees, everything was straight forward in the contract. TAKE THE TIME TO READ IT! Grandpas Axe was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G; small and private, perfect for a weekend getaway.

People working at the office were very pleasant and helpful. We had a reservation for one of the cabins. When we got to the cabin, right away we knew we didn't want to stay there. It had a horrible smell, the upstairs loft futon bed was really bad and it even didn't have any sheets. so we went back to the office and asked if we can get another cabin, and we were ok to pay the difference. after a little wait we got another cabin and they even waved the money difference with no problem. Finally we could enjoy our trip! Happy customers.

Such an awesome little place! we loved everything about it... The property owners were in town and staying in the top suite and were such pleasant people that it made our stay that much better! they invited us to come see them at the car show they were entering a car in so being that my wife and are both gear heads we absolutely had to go! great property and in a great area that is close to everything. Thanks for the wonderful property and great upkeep on the place. we will for sure be back for another stay!!!

The place is clean, nice, meets all my needs. The only thing I do not like is the parking is really hard, angle parking and hard to make a turn, therefore should be back out.

Wonderful experience from start to finish. We stayed in unit 1425, which was spacious and charming with great shoreline access. Amenities were above average, and we particularly enjoyed the large and well-appointed kitchen and BBQ right outside. Mattresses are important to me whenever I sleep away from home, and these did not disappoint - very comfortable. Rental office and property manager were friendly, accommodating, and easy to reach. Would definitely stay here again.

This was absolutely beautiful! We were in unit 1425 and it was simply amazing! From the time I checked in with Daniel, who was the sweetest, till we left we couldn't be happier. The house was surprisingly spacious, The kitchen especially had a lot of room for multiple people to work. It was nice and clean and set up for us to have a great weekend without having to bring a lot of extras with us. (Like pots/pans, dishes, cups, grill) It was a random nice surprise to have old school Disney VHS tapes to watch bread became appear to have fun with friends but it was super fun to be able to watch movies from our childhood. My only wish would be for a better coffee maker and updated TV, but that is the modern gal in me.

Booked my stay through AirBnb and stayed at Owl Pine Lodge with boyfriend and his dog.
Cute space, cozy room and the location was very convenient, less than half a mile from the main road and within walking distance of a market. You are responsible for washing the dishes and disposing of the trash at a designated trash site.
Please PLEASE make sure you have a leash on your pets at all times. And don’t leave them alone in the cabin with just the screen door open; our neighbors left their dog for a few hours and he broke out and scared/chased our pup out on to the road in the middle of the night. Thankfully both dogs were fine but it is important to be EXTRA careful with your pets.

we loved our cabin, the staff was pleasant and helpful. the cleaning fee was pretty high when you consider that they ask you to take out the trash and wash the dishes before leaving but that is my only complaint.

My family and I loved our stay at 1494-Living Log Cabin! The property is huge and feels very secluded yet is close enough to town making access to shopping very convenient. There was plenty of room to accommodate our guests and we were pleasantly surprised to see a hot tub (which hadn't been listed at the time we rented the cabin). We will definitely be back!

Nice clean cabinet, staff very nice and quick help to check in, give very useful acticact around area. Most important they response problem call very quick and fix problem on time.cabinet close to lake and town, walk only 6 minutes. We are very happy and enjoy our stay.

The cabin we stayed in "Hook, Wine and Sinker" was great. The people nearby and local restaurants are all so kind and helpful. The view is phenomenal as are the things to do.

Our entire experience was favorable. We needed help trying to choose a place so I called Big Bear Vacations. The rep helped identify a cabin that met our needs and made a recommendation. I was a bit nervous as sometimes some of the cabins can be dirty and run down. The recommendation made was very, very clean, it looked like the cabin had been recently remodeled. The area was centrally located and every transaction we had with Big Bear Vacations was positive. It is obvious that customer service is a priority for this company.

Had a wonderful experience! I rented cabin 667- Casa Catalina. It was very clean and nice. I love the feel of the house and it's decor. Very close to resturants and the lake. I would definitely book this cabin again :) My whole family really enjoyed it.
