Our family loves coming to Big Bear Lake to escape the heat below and paddle on the lake. This cabin accommodated our group of three adults and three children (and various friends) very well with its four bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths! The kitchen is loaded with pots, pans, dishes and utensils. Tables and chairs are in abundance. The dock provided easy access to the lake with our kayaks and canoe. We stayed ten days and it's always hard to leave.

The cabin was clean, organized, cozy. Nice furniture with Pool table that my family enjoyed a lot.

The home was very neat and clean. Furnishing were all new and very comfortable. It was a great location, quiet and private. The hot tub and back deck was a beautiful way to end a quiet evening in the mountains. I would definitely stay at this home again.

The photo is from our porch which is right on the lake. Cabin is decently furnished with everything that you need for a comfortable stay. Check in/out was easy. I loved the fact that we could take our fur babies for only $10/day/pet.

Gertie's Getaway was the perfect cabin for a girl's retreat weekend up to Big Bear Lake. We loved the accessibility to the lake and village. The cabin was very comfortable for a group of 5 and we especially loved grilling under the big trees and eating our meals on the deck. We'll be back!

Great home, very clean, love the deck with the hot tub. It was a little further from the village then we like but it worked. About a mile. Julie at Big Bear Vacation was a big help.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Shore Acres Lodge this past Father’s Day weekend. We loved it. Beautiful cabins and quaint. Historical old hunting lodge with the original wood. It’s hard to find authentic cabins.
Everyone was really nice. It was very clean. Lake view. ❤️

We really enjoyed our weekend away! We BBQed, enjoyed the fireplace, and had a quiet, relaxing time with our dogs. One thing to note: the yard is not completely fenced in and it's shared with the other units so we weren't able to let our dogs off-leash like we thought we could.

Our absolute favorite place in Big Bear
This is not our first time staying in Big Bear lake and Big Bear Vacations nor will it be our last. This is our favorite company to use to book a trip here. The staff is amazing, so accommodating and very helpful. We stayed at Franks Old Bear for Father's Day weekend 2018 and absolutely love this place. There is an amazing view of the lake and the docks from the porch plus ample seating for hanging out outside and eating meals. The house is well appointed and spotless.
Big Bear vacations is the perfect place for people who just want to turn the outside world off for a while. So quiet and peaceful you can just listen to the birds chirping while you look at the lake enjoying nature at its finest. The dock is amazing and a fun place to fish, bask in the sun or read a book. Time slows down here in the best possible way. We love this place and will continue to use Big Bear Vacations for all of our Big Bear get away needs.
