Terrible customer service, particularly when I was obviously very worried about my dog. I felt like I was being told off the first time I called and told to ring back on a different number because my dogs condition wasn’t an emergency (it feels urgent to me and another veterinary clinic with no space also felt like it was urgent - so I’m not being completely crazy here). When I called back it went through to the same person who was very brusk. It was only after taking my and my dogs details that I was told they couldn’t take on new patients. Which I totally understand, but there was zero empathy or kindness in how Katy handled the calls and situation generally. Both other clinics I called afterwards handled the calls with kindness and came up with solutions.
Seriously, vet clinics need to have empathy for humans as well as pets. We are usually calling because we are worried. It doesn’t take much to not be rude, particularly when people need help.
