I would like to start recommend Sam Ivy and specially to my dog trainer Blas Cardenas, He’s great and very energetic person, help me and my 5 months old German Shepherd behave like a rock star in and out from home. He gave me the right tools to address issues that I had with my dog being a puppy now he’s amazing. Like he said a well trained dog is a happy home. Thanks Sam Ivy and great job Blas !

I would definitely recommend Sam Ivy to anyone having issues with their pup. Madina (trainer) was great with my 2 year old pomsky Kai Lani. She was very high energy and a runner but Madina was able to show me the right tools to modify her behaviors. She was very responsive and punctual. Pricey but definitely worth your time and money if your dog is disobedient. It's an ongoing process to enforce the training but totally works. Thanks Sam Ivy and Madina!

Saw results after the first session. Our stafford was showing some reals signs of aggression and we were afraid we might have to re-home him. He was aggressive towards other dogs, didn’t want to listen to us, would jump on guest, started snapping at us, and taking him for a walk became a real challenge. But he had a real sweet side to him underneath the surface and we loved him for that. Claudia came to our house and explained what was happening with our dog and how it would be corrected. Blas was our trainer and assured us that we would see immediate results and we did. By simply following their instructions and sticking to the program our dog change right before our eyes. He knows where his place is in the family now. He still requires a correction every now and then but the biggest notice is when we take him for a walk. If he sees another dog he just keeps walking and if he looks like he’s going to do something a simple verbal reminder is all it takes. Our neighbors can’t believe he’s the same dog they saw before. No pulling, or talking us for a walk like before. He’s right at our side. It’s comforting to see how the other dogs will bark and go crazy when they see him and he doesn’t react. Big thanks to Claudia and Blas. I highly suggest them if you have having trouble with your dog. No matter what the problem is. If they could save our dog they can save yours.

I would recommend this training to anyone who who needs dogs trained. I have Doxies that where very poorly behaved extremely human aggressive . They had not been exposed to alot of people and are very territorial. Circumstances forced me into living with other people and I was literally afraid of what they might do or what I would have to do with them for everyone's saftey. I Saw Sam Ivy had the best rating and and called I was not disappointed. I trained with Alexis she was amazing always communicated well treats your dogs with respect and is a great trainer . I can now take my dogs to the park leave them at home alone and even to dog friendly establishments without worry . I honestly was super afraid of what I was going to do with them and they helped me so much . Thank you Alexis !!!

There are not enough stars to give Sam Ivy. We are about half way through training with our dog Luke, who was really a struggle to manage with three young kids. Luke had issues with jumping, barking, chewing, pulling on his leash, being destructive, going to the bathroom in the house, and was generally all around anxious all the time. He even would bark at us whenever we opened the oven or picked up an oven mitt. It was stressful for all of us and we knew we needed to change so we could actually enjoy having a dog. We have had 5 sessions with the Sam Ivy trainer Joel and I am blown away with how Luke has transformed. He is such a great dog and even strangers comment on how well behaved he is. We can enjoy walks now and we have learned how receptive he is to training using the tools that Sam Ivy provides. You can tell he feels more secure and less anxious in the house now that we have established appropriate boundaries and rules for him. As I write this, he is sitting calmly in his crate when even two weeks ago he would be yelping and urinating in it. We have used two other trainers in the past for him without success. I cannot recommend Sam Ivy enough. Originally we were a little nervous about the investment and collar used, but the results are worth their weight in gold. One thing I love about them over other programs is the flexibility of the schedule. I like that we don’t need to have the pressure of a set number of classes or sessions to attend and that Joel has been able to adjust the schedule based on our needs as our circumstances changed mid-program requiring some new dates and times. If you’re looking for a dog trainer, Sam Ivy is the only one I would recommend!

Our dog Mac had horrible dog reactivity and separation anxiety. Within a few training sessions we saw a massive change in his behavior. Joel helped train us to train our dog so he listens to us. Cannot recommend enough!

I cannot express how happy I am with the decision to enroll my dogs in training. Even if you don’t think your dogs really “need” it, they do. My fiancé and I were panicking for months about integrating our households, I have an elderly Akita mix and a beagle, and Craig has a pit bull/boxer mix, none of which were ever trained. A really happy step in our life was causing us a ton of stress, we even looked into rehoming one of the dogs. However, we decided to try training instead. We scheduled a consult with Enzo and he explained the entire process, the reasoning behind their training process, and really gave us hope for our situation. Erica was our trainer and she was incredible. She worked with our situation, driving to both Tampa and Clearwater each week to train both dogs separately, and was a vital part in integrating the household. She gave us the tools and confidence we needed to really make us effective dog owners. She was a pleasure to work with, making the process easy to understand and enjoyable, and she answered all of our crazy dog parent questions quickly and without judgement. I could have never imagined that joining these three crazy dogs would be so easy. The control we have over our household, the difference in our dogs, while still being “them”, and the peace of mind has been more than worth it. I highly recommend Sam Ivy training, and Erica especially.
