I absolutely recommend Sam Ivy to anyone who is having pack issues or any kind of issues with their fur babies. I recommend them for any kind of training or behavior correctionsI I already had two American Pitbulls and a Lhasa Apso when I decided to rescue an American Bully. One of the Pibbles did not accept our new pack member and attacked him after about a month of being around him. We ended up with two separate packs in order to protect the new rescue. That took a toll on our family because we weren't able to enjoy time together all in one room with all the dogs. We weren't making much progress with them and were actually thinking about rehoming the new rescue. We decided to call Sam Ivy as a last resort before rehoming the dog. We had the initial consultation with Sam Ivy , that's when we realized we were far from where we needed to be and did not have the knowledge we needed in order to make it work. We decided to go ahead with the program and I am so happy we did. Our trainer was MIguel, he is amazing! He is so much more than a dog trainer. He is kind and patient and is a pro at what he does! He was able to get familiar with my pack in a short time and individualize the behavior corrections each dog needed.He brought a positive energy in to our home every time he stepped through the door. The dogs respected him from day one. He gave us the tools we needed in order to take control of our pack. On graduation day we were able to set all 4 dogs loose in the yard with confidece knowing we had it under control. We do need to continue working with them but I am happy that we get to get Batman(new rescue) because we now know how to prevent and how to correct. Thank you MIguel/Sam Ivy! Murphy, our Goldendoodle, was sweet but very energetic. He needed to learn basic commands and manners. We needed professional help. Our neighbor recommended Sam Ivy Consultstants. I reviewed their on-line information and decided to contact them for a free in-house consultation. We decided to engage in a contract with Sam Ivy Consultstants for help with our basic issues of Murphy coming when called, walking on a leash, spot, sit, stay, down and just general manners. Erica became our lifeline to a puppy that was a pleasure to be around. During the course of his training proper pack behavior, leash position and intermediate on/off leash, he learned all the skills needed to be a lovable 52 pound, 10 month old companion puppy. There was a concern about the cost of the program but it was worth every penny. The training program was expertly planned and executed by our amazing professional trainer, Erica. She bonded immediately with Murphy and patiently coordinated each lesson to his specific needs. The sessions were an hour long, which was perfect because Murphy worked hard and was exhausted after each one. He loved his training with Erica and excelled at each one. Erica gave us progress reports after each session and homework to practice. This was very important because it was a team effort. The specific practice lessons helped Murphy to continue to master new skills. Erica would always text to make sure our sessions were on. She maintained a great two-way communication with us, which was appreciated. In conclusion, The Sam Ivy training by Erica was an excellent experience that far exceeded our expectations. Murphy graduated today and we will be forever grateful to Erica, who will always have a spot in our hearts. Erica was the consummate trainer: experienced, paced, knowledgeable, warm, loving, professional, competent, creative, reliable, trustworthy, motivated, and all-round exceptional. We are extremely grateful to her for training Murphy to be an outstanding companion. We are honored to give the highest possible praise to this program and Erica. My 16 month old Lab just graduated from the Advanced On-Leash program. He is amazing on the leash when we go for walks and others in the neighborhood always ask me how I did it. I’ll tell you how I did it. I took the training seriously and I listened to what our trainer, Blas, told us. You do that, you can’t go wrong. Blas is incredible with dogs. His passion and love for what he does is apparent from the moment you meet him. He is patient. He is kind. And he genuinely gets excited to see your dog progress. If you do what Blas says, then you too will have a well behaved upstanding citizen of the dog world. Your neighbors will be jealous! Your dog will thank you for it! We had the pleasure of working with Blas for our 3 dogs (two chihuahuas and a yorkie). I really thought it would not be possible, but I admit it worked. Three senior dogs walk better on leashes, they don't bark for the door bell or the random gust of wind that blew a leaf, they spot and stay when needed. We can't thank Blas enough for his hard work and love that he put into the trianing program. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience with Sam Ivy K9 Consultants! Our Frenchie, Stu, thought he needed to protect my wife and I from strangers, and didn’t always obey our commands. In other words, he felt that he was the alpha in our pack. Miguel, our Sam Ivy trainer, taught us that Stu needed to understand his role in our family - that it isn’t his job to protect all of us, and that my wife and I are the alphas. We learned about how dogs communicate, and Miguel taught us how correct Stu’s behavior, and how to set boundaries. It was really more of a training for my wife and I than it was for Stu, though Stu did learn a lot as well! The training changed the dynamic we had with our dog, and Stu is now not only obedient and much less aggressive, but he’s also happier and so much more affectionate. He can take it easy now that he understands he doesn’t need to lead the pack. We can now confidently walk Stu off leash, and we feel so much more comfortable around strangers knowing that Stu will stand down with a single verbal command. Sam Ivy dog training was EXCELLENT! My dog Belle has serious thunderstorm anxiety and was destroying my house. We got the perfect pack behavior training, and it made such a difference in our lives. Blas was so incredibly helpful and was always there for us and committed to helping us solve our problem. It really was the greatest dog training system and worth every penny.
