I can't say enough amazing things about Sam Ivy K9 Consultants & our trainer, Miguel. They were professional from the start and offered us a solid plan for our new puppy. We have never been dog owners before, so we wanted to do it 'right'. Sam Ivy and his team helped us do just that. Our French Bulldog, Beau, is extremely well behaved already, even at his ripe young age of 6 months (We get more comments about how good Beau is when we're out!). Regardless of the issue, question, concern about Beau's behavior, Miguel knew a solution! Miguel truly has a love for dogs and you can see it during every visit with you. I will warn you that it's a LOT of work for the owner, so get your mind right. Not only is your dog getting trained, but you are too so just be open to the experience and know that there is an end in sight (some days it didn't feel that way!). It took us about 3 solid months for Beau to graduate and a lot of patience, but we could not be more pleased with Beau. Thank you, Miguel for your unwavering support and always being a great teacher to Beau. We also enjoyed meeting his own pup and also a new trainer, Medina, who couldn't have been sweeter. Oh and one other thing...even after the pup has graduated, you can text your consultant or Sam Ivy should new issues arise. That makes me feel so good knowing that when Beau hits his 'teenage' years here in a couple months, Miguel is just a text away with the perfect solution. Don't hesitate, it's the best money my husband and I have ever spent - well besides getting Beau.

Started training our dog at 9 weeks with Alexis our trainer and today Hamish our dog graduated. What an amazing transformation from day one to four months later. I highly recommend Sam Ivy as a school to train your dog and Alexis is awesome. Thank you!

I can’t say enough about how great our experience was with Sam Ivy K9 Consultants, and our trainer Erica! Our English Mastiff, Coda, just graduated from the off leash program and we are so pleased with the progress that she’s made. Our main concern with a large breed dog was making sure that she didn’t jump, nip, or run off (taking us with her!). We now have a well behaved 9 month old puppy who can walk off leash beside us—amazing! Erica broke up the training into manageable parts, which we practiced diligently daily—training is really about training the owners more than the dog! She gave us the skills we needed to successfully train our sweet puppy! Erica was a pleasure to work with—it was super easy to schedule training appointments around our busy schedules and she was always available via phone/text if we had questions. I highly recommend Sam Ivy to anyone who is considering signing up for the program.

Kudos to Sam Ivey’s company. My personal trainer was Miguel who was absolutely fabulous. Beau would turn into theTasmanian devil every time he saw another animal. So I was very skeptical at the start that this would work. With Miguel’s patience, knowledge and experience, Not only do I have a well behaved dog, I became a better dog owner. I highly recommend Sam Ivey for those who want a happy healthy relationship with their dogs. And I am convinced that every dog and dog owner are trainable. Call Sam Ivey. My dog recently went through the first stage of training with Sam Ivy and I can tell you that UNQUESTIONABLY they have the best style of training if you want results. I own a Belgian Malinois and they are dogs that are at 10 at all times. After the training we received ESPECIALLY from Blas the trainer it is crystal clear that he cared about the results and me learning how to best create the strongest bond possible with my pup. I could NOT recommend Blas and Sam Ivy K9 Consultants enough!!!!!

This was money well spent. Our dog Scout didn't respect his place in our pack, or us, for that matter. From day one, Gina showed us how to establish boundaries that Scout would respect to our surprise, it worked. Gina taught us how important it is to advocate for him when people approach him in public and try and pet him, effectively protecting him from himself. Gina was always there for us whenever we found ourselves in a situation we felt out of our depth in and she would always encourage us and tell us that we could handle the situation. I know if we ever get another puppy Gina will be our first call to start the training as soon as the puppy comes home. Highly recommend Sam Ivy to anyone looking for a dog trainer, the in home training makes it so convenient and comfortable for both you and your pet.

Alexis quickly got our new labradoodle puppy to behave and mind the rules in our household. He quickly learned commands and became manageable on the leash. Highly recommended for new big dog puppies.

Just finished the intermediate on-leash training for our German Shepherd puppy, Bolt. He's 4 months old and already becoming a great member of our household. Sam Ivy tools have helped him stop jumping on people and nipping anything and everyone in sight. Gina and the whole Sam Ivy team have been wonderful. I'm sure we'll be coming back for additional training as he grows.
