Our puppy Tucker needed some help...actually WE needed some help training Tucker. Holli and SamIvey were exactly what we needed. She gave us the tools we needed to train Tucker and most importantly she kept us accountable to do the training. She was always very patient and encouraging with us, and we now have the skills we need to grow Tucker into a very well behaved dog. We have had so many victories in the last 3 weeks...best of all his behavior is so much more controlled around our granddaughter, which makes all of us so happy. Thank you Holli!

We have almost completed our dog training program with Gina at Sam Ivy and are very happy with our dog's progress! We rescued our dog Raja in 2020 right in the middle of Covid and did our best to socialize him but ended up having a trainer come over to the house. This training and another one we tried were both only treat based and were successful but only to a certain point. Raja learned the basic commands and is a super sweet dog! The problem we began to have was Raja showing aggression when a delivery person was walking up our driveway or when a contractor came over. he was also difficult to manage on walks when we encountered other people and dogs and would dart toward them. Then he nipped at one of our guests at a dinner party and that was it for us. We knew we had to do something.... I found Sam Ivy through a friend at my ballet class and decided to give it a try. Sam Ivy's training method uses a combination of reward and corrections which was very effective almost immediately. Gina is super kind, patient, and accommodating and with the tools provided by Sam Ivy we were able to take our dog out and about to practice our new training tools in public places and around other people and dogs. We have seen a huge improvement in our dog's behavior and the training has also made us more confident in our handling of our dog! He is now able to stay on spot if the doorbell rings rather than charging at the door... One of my goals was to take Raja to a dog friendly cafe and have him sit nicely while we enjoyed a coffee or.a bite and we did just that during our last training. My husband and I were really thrilled to see how far we had come after just 12 sessions with Gina. I would highly recommend using Sam Ivy to help you with any behavior issues with your dog. It requires commitment and consistency on your part, but the results are well worth it! We are very happy!!!

We chose SamIvy because my two dogs were behaving aggressively towards each other and we needed help setting boundaries. Until my training with Nate I couldn't take Max for a walk . He would go into a red zone and try to kill every person dog car he saw and me most times. In less than 2 weeks max and I began to enjoy walks. He doesn't lung at cars or people any longer and he is slowly getting better with seeing dogs. Nate and the sam ivy team not only taught me the tools in training but helped me build my confidence in becoming the best handler for Max . Us gaining the respect between us that we were lacking. We have a long road ahead of us but because of them it's going to be a little bit easier. Thank you so much Nate!!! You saved us !!!

I had the pleasure of working with Gina to train my golden doodle for psychiatric service dog and it was an extremely pleasant experience! She was so patient, helpful, knowledgeable, kind, responsive to my issues and tailored the program to match my needs for my doggie and myself. I took Shiloh back home for the holidays on 4 plane rides and he did wonderfully. Many passengers commented on how good he was and loved his company. This program is especially convenient because it’s all through zoom. You don’t have to drive to any sessions. You get to be the main person in command when training the dog with the guidance of the trainer so the dog learns to listen to you primarily. I would highly recommend this company!

I would highly recommend this training program as well as our trainer Ryann! We really enjoyed the convenience of virtual meetings and appreciated that we, as the dog owners, were learning so we can continue training our dogs after the program was completed. We are so grateful we could train all 3 of our dogs at once, even though they are very different in terms of age and behavioral issues. Ryann coached us effectively to reduce or eliminate our senior dog's reactivity, our smallest dog's barking, and our youngster's chewing, among other issues we've struggled with for so long! She was really encouraging and responded promptly whenever we had questions. My husband and I are now confident in walking all 3 large dogs as a family and taking our 2 youngest dogs to local restaurants and breweries. Thank you Ryann & Sam Ivy!
