My pup, Aidee, is a rescue dog. She had leash aggression, would pull when walking her, and would bark at people who would come near us on a walk. We did our consultation with Claudia who was extremely informative. She explained the whole process and made us feel very comfortable with the tools used during training. Jackie was assigned as our trainer and she was/is awesome :) Jackie knew exactly what she was doing and was very good at explaining and showing how to turn aidee into a well behaved girl. Any questions I had whether during training, or on a Sunday morning, Jackie was very responsive. I felt as if she cared for my pup as if she were her own. Aidees behavior significantly changed in the matter of two weeks. We completed the proper pack behavior and the results were so amazing I didn’t want to stop there. We then completed advanced on leash, then service dog! Aidee still has her cute playful personality but only when it is appropriate. When she is working, she gets into the mode. Our walks are now enjoyable and I feel comfortable if someone else were to walk her that nothing would happen. I was very pleased with Sam Ivy K9 Consultants and Aidee was too. Jackie and Claudia both made the whole process so easy and taught me how to communicate with my dog.

Our great dane Lulu is the same lovable, fun, and lazy dog she was before training, BUT is no longer dog aggressive, doesn't pull on her leash, and listens the FIRST time we tell her to do something. We were very hesitant about hiring a dog trainer, but once we got matched up with and met Alexis and saw how awesome she was with Lulu we knew it was going to be worth it. Moving from a house with her own yard to an apartment where their are dogs everywhere was an adjustment for Lulu, but with the help of Alexis is the best dog we have ever had! I got my chocolate lab trained by alexis and it has been a great journey. When we started he was about 14 weeks and he was super hyper and was not very gentle with my 3 year old daughter. Alexis has been amazing in training zuma and he has improved greatly! He listens and is well behaved with my daughter. He graduated today and i couldn’t be more pleased!

I had a vicious 3 year old, 8 pound chihuahua who would attack every dog in site until Jackie from Sam Ivy Fort Lauderdale started working with him. We noticed a difference after the 1st session and in a month he was a completely different dog. He is now an angel and can be around other dogs without barking, biting, and lunging towards them.
