Our Trainer was Ryann Dragani, we have been very pleased with the results with our dog Otis. Ryann has been a very good and patient trainer for us and Otis. Otis is a much better dog since we started training with Ryann. Otis was very hyper and hard to control when anyone would come to our house. Now he is calm and obeys commands. We recently completed our training with Sam Ivy and are so thrilled we made the decision to invest our time in our furry friend. We have a 1.5-year-old golden retriever who had an extremely high energy level and a difficult time appropriately greeting both humans and other dogs. We couldn’t figure out how to help him learn how to contain himself, and had concerns as it became more prominent along with other behavior quirks. We were referred by another Sam Ivy graduate, and got the opportunity to work with Alexis who was absolutely amazing. Her style and demeanor, along with ease of scheduling and getting our feedback and homework, made the process so enjoyable. Our dog absolutely loved her too! Alexis helped us learn how to train our dog so that he is now the ultimate canine companion that we had envisioned when we picked him up that first day as a little puppy. Highly recommend Sam & Ivy!!!! I have a 3 year old Toy Poodle that’s the sweetest dog but she suffers from separation anxiety and would bark endlessly at strangers or house guests. I tried an anxiety shirt, relaxation techniques, and lastly medication which was awful. I read rave reviews about Sam and Ivy through my Community website. From my first session with Alexis and then following through with her homework assignments, my dog made “progress” very quickly. We completed the Proper Pack Behavior course and my dog has done AMAZINGLY WELL. Family and friends are shocked at our dogs transformation. We have an almost 3 year old Maltese. This is our first dog ever for my wife and I. We had no idea how to train our dog Toby. Needless to say he was very dominant and barked at everyone he got in contact with, including people, kids other dogs, trees etc etc. It was very difficult for us to take him places. I came accross an add from Sam Ivy and since the reviews were relly great and thier website presented a very proffesional approach, I decided to contact them. From the beggining Jackie explained and layed out the rules of engagement as well as the training methodology. We proceeded with the training a bit reluctant as we were doubting that our Toby could actually be trained. Well here we are, half way trough the program and Jackie has been able to train our Toby, he is a TOTALLY different dog now, she has been very patient, persistent yet firm and determined. From the beggining she layed out a systematic approach that has paid dividens for us. Jackie emphasises the importance of following the program and doing the exercises. My wife and I are super happy and all of my neighbors can not believe the change. Many people have even wondered if Toby is the same dog. We can now enjoy him more and we feel that our relationship with Toby has improved significantly. Thank you Jackie!!!

We had a very positive experience with Sam Ivy. Ryann was a great trainer and helped us identify the behaviors we wanted to change and provided strategies to achieve our goals. She truly adored our dog and was patient with us. We are thrilled to have a much calmer and polite member of our family.

When I first met with Sam, I was edging on desperate. Gunner, my rottie mix, was a sweet boy - but very much the "man of the house." My husband had recently left and Gunner was protective of me and our new home to the point that I couldn't even have company over! Sam immediately made me feel like everything was going to be alright. He explained that Gunners instincts to be protective of me was a good thing, but that we needed to teach the pup that I would now be the family "Alpha" and Gunns didn't need to be "on duty" all the time. We began training with Noura and I could see a turn around almost immediately. Gunner took to Noura like peanut butter to jelly, and she saw his potential and brought out the best in him (in both of us really.) Training with Noura gave us both confidence in our selves and each other. Gunner has now graduated service dog training, and we're constantly complimented on his exceptional behavior. My crazy pup (who previously was crashing through windows to bark at men walking down my street) now sits quietly in restaurants and on airplanes. He's become a tool that I rely on daily, and Noura has truly been a godsend to our family.
