Our third Micato adventure took us to amazing, colorful, dizzying, beautiful India. We were doubly lucky to have Hem Singh as our guide — Hem speaks at least four languages and has an encyclopedic knowledge of his home country. And he’s a whiz with iPhone photography. In addition, if a problem cropped up, he instantly solved it. I tried coming up with a question he didn’t know the answer to, and never succeeded. He was also just plain fun.

They created thoughtful, unique experiences beyond the tours and sightseeing we had planned to make every day truly special. Trip of a lifetime! My visit to South Africa with Micato Safaris was exceptional. From the pre-trip communication and gifts to every little detail while traveling this trip exceeded all expectations. Our safari guide Iggy was so knowledgeable and made sure everything was perfect and every aspect of our trip was managed to perfection. Our villa host Peter at Mont Rochelle provided warm hospitality and made sure we were spoiled throughout our stay. Our villa manager Clementine at Cheetah Plains made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond making sure our stay was spectacular. Pro-tip…make sure you bring a packable spare bag to bring home all the pillow gifts you will receive during your trip! If you are considering taking a luxury safari no one does it better than Micato!
