My safari with Micato was truly one of the most extraordinary travel experiences of my life. Every detail was flawlessly planned, allowing me to be fully present and immersed in the experience rather than worrying about logistics.
What made this trip exceptional, however, was the people. Our Safari Director and the entire team on the ground were warm, knowledgeable, incredibly attentive, and genuinely passionate about sharing their countries with us. They didn't just help us see Africa—they helped us experience it. Their expertise, kindness, and ability to anticipate every need made us feel completely cared for from beginning to end.
There were countless unforgettable moments—from breathtaking wildlife encounters to spectacular sunrises and sunsets—but what has stayed with me most is the connection I felt with the people. The warmth, generosity, and joy of everyone we met created memories that will remain with me forever.
One of the things I appreciated most was how seamlessly everything came together. Every lodge, every transfer, every game drive, and every surprise felt thoughtfully curated. It was clear that Micato's commitment to excellence extends far beyond luxury—it is about creating experiences that are deeply personal and meaningful.
If you're considering an African safari, I cannot recommend Micato highly enough. They exceeded every expectation and created a journey that changed the way I see the world. It wasn't simply a vacation—it was an experience I will treasure for the rest of my life.

We cannot sing Micato's praises enough! We just returned from an East African safari with them and it was absolutely incredible and exceeded all of our expectations. The attention to detail was off the charts and everything was truly amazing. And our Safari Director, Philip, was just the best- we learned so much from him and he was just so easy to be around- we were very grateful he was on our journey with us and will never forget him (we hope, someday, that we might be able to travel with Micato again and would absolutely ask for Philip again if we do).

From our arrival at Nairobe International Airport until our departure 12 days later Micato took care of every detail with outstanding care and attention to detail. All accommodations were top drawer, as were the in-country transportation arrangements. One of the most appreciated features about this trip was the wonderful personal attention provided by all of your staff, but most particularly your Safari Director who led us throughout the entire safari. In addition to being supremely knowledgeable, he was most attentive to each of us , providing special celebrations, meals in the bush, accommodating all our quirks and disruptions and keeping us aware of the upcoming events so we were never surprised. It was wonderful to have him as Shepard for the entire time in country.
If we are able to return to Africa for another Safari, we will certainly do so through Micato.

We recently returned from a 2-week safari in Kenya and Tanzania, and our experience was nothing short of spectacular. Literally every detail was meticulously planned, with a few delightful surprises along the way. The resorts were top notch, and the food was amazing, but what made the trip so incredibly special was the Micato staff. The care and effort they put into making this the trip of a lifetime was just astounding. Our lives have been changed for the better because of the people we connected with. Oh, and the safari/wildlife experience - AMAZING. Highly recommend Micato!
