Working with Nick at Micato to book my own safari, as well as safaris for two of my clients, was absolutely seamless. Nick joined every single call with my clients and walked through every detail thoroughly, which made the entire process feel easy, organized, and incredibly reassuring.
I had such a wonderful experience working with him. He made both me and my clients feel completely comfortable and well taken care of throughout the planning of our 13-day Kenya and Tanzania safari with Micato.
I also loved all of the thoughtful surprises that arrived in the mail before the trip—the bag, coffee, mug, and coasters were such special touches and really built excitement for the safari.
I highly recommend Nick at Micato to anyone looking to book a five-star, white-glove safari experience.

We just finished Micato's Soul of India in 2026; we did a Micato safari in Africa a number of years ago. Micato is the best. Both trips were packed with unforgettable memories. We're a bit older and appreciated Rajesh, our guide, and his attention to all the details: he made this stress-free. Of course, Micato got the distilled water that I needed for my CPAP machine.
The bicycle riskshaw ride in Old Delhi taxed all our senses. It's unforgettable. We'll never forget Varanasi. I'll never forget the holy man at the small temple in Jaipur who played and sang for us; and the six foot wide and 40 feet deep store fronts, one after another selling who knows what. My wife loved the visit to the elephant sanctuary and hugging their trunks. Micato picked the best accommodations. They were fabulous.

My husband and I just returned from the Micato Safaris African splendor trip and there aren’t words or pictures to describe how amazing this trip was. We saw so many animals in their natural habitat up close; our lodging was all five star as was the food and service. The local guides they have are amazing. Ours was a gentleman named Peter Wambugu and his knowledge of the animals, birds and topography were like an encyclopedia. Every detail was taken care of by Micato and while this was our first time traveling with them, it is certainly not the last. I highly recommend Micato Safari’s.

The Hemingway trip was amazing, even better than I expected. The resorts, animals, food, transportation all were phenomenal! But the highlight as always are the wonderful African people!
