Words like amazing, awesome, wonderful only come up short for describing our vacation with Micato Safari. From the booking and preparation process, to arriving in Kenya, and through all the aspects of the safari experiences, everything about it exceeded expectations. We had our doubts about traveling during COVID but are so thrilled we didn't delay the experience any longer.

Traveling on safari in East Africa is truly a remarkable experience, and doing so with Micato is, in our minds, the manner in which to go. The company and staff are entirely buttoned up, and the details of the overall operation are executed flawlessly each day. The staff are extremely personable, and the guides are consistently informative. We enjoyed each of the properties in which we stayed, and memorable does not begin to adequately describe the actual daily wildlife viewings . We highly encourage the add-on itinerary ofvisiting with the Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda. This is one of those instances which falls into the descriptive of a “life time experience”. We highly recommend traveling with Micato Safaris as they are genuinely an A operation. As such, we hope to travel with them again with our children, their spouses, and our grandchildren.

Just returned from a Micato safari in Kenya (Lewa and the Maasai Mara) and am still basking in the wonder of it all. It delivered on all fronts. Logistics, accommodations, and, of course, the safari experience itself were all unparalleled and exceeded every expectation and desire. Our guides, Dennis and Peter, were stellar - deeply knowledgeable, hospitable and engaging - with wonderful senses of humor, to boot. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime kind of trip. Strongest recommendation to anyone seeking an outstanding safari vacation. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

We travelled to Kenya on Safari and Rwanda to go Gorilla Trekking with Micato and it was out of this world! Everything was first class and absolutely amazing. All of the details were handled perfectly and we felt like we were royalty. Our Safari Directors, Peter Githaka and Denis Simi were extremely knowldegeable about the animals, the plants, the environment, the culture.....everything. And they seemed to know how to make any request happen! Like magic! We would highly recommend taking a trip of a lifetime with Micato!

Top notch safari company. This was my first time going on a safari and it was excellent. Everything went as planned. The company was very prepared to deal with the Covid situation and I felt very safe with their updated protocols. I would highly recommend
