Micato Safaris was easily the best and most luxurious vacation I have ever taken! From being greeted as soon as we departed the plane, having hand written notes and gifts in our rooms, to the incredibly knowledgeable Safari Director and drivers, we were made to feel as though we were the only guests on safari. Even with recent concerns of COVID, there were regular temperature checks, hand-washing stations, hand sanitizer and every staff member wore a mask and was superb at making us feel welcome while maintaining safe distancing protocols. I would highly recommend anyone book with Micato if they're considering going on safari!

Going on safari with Micato was amazing and truly a once in a lifetime trip. The tour guides, drivers, and staff were knowledgable, personable, and took care of every detail so there was no need to worry about a single thing (other than if we could manage to spot a leopard while out driving). I would not go back to Kenya or Tanzania without Micato.

We went on a safari to Kenya and Tanzania. Everything about the trip was first class and so very well thought out. We were well prepared before the trip and loved every minute of our trip. The guides and drivers couldn't have been more knowledgeable or nicer. Highly recommend Micato. Can't wait to go again.

The trip from start to finish was flawless. We combined a private tour and a group tour. Both were top notch. The staff is professional and knowledgable. The facilities were the very best. The safari was beyond our expectations.

My partner and I just returned from Kenya and Tanzania on Micato’s Hemingway Safari and had a great time. We were some of the first tourists to return to East Africa with Micato since the COVID pandemic started. Micato, the elewana properties and the Atua Enkop camp Elephant Bedroom were obviously trained to take health protective actions such as compulsory mask wearing, frequent hand washing and sanitizing and social distancing. I’m a retired dentist, periodontist, and Kathy, my partner is a veterinarian. The professional attention to our health security was greatly appreciated.
Micato’s guides and support staff were first class. I highly recommend Micato and look forward to taking another one of their tours!
