Excellent pasteis de nata! The best in the east coast by far! As a bonus, they also have your favorite soft drinks and Portuguese beer. Service is fantastic, if you’re in the neighborhood, you have to stop by!

The Portuguese tart was amazing! Warm, flaky, crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside. I could eat a tray of them. Service is fast and friendly.

The absolute nicest lady in the world operates this cafe. Isabel is a total gem. She treats every customer that walks in with an incredible warm kindness, and on top of that, she bakes the greatest custard/egg tarts in all of New York City. The pie crust is perfectly flaky and buttery with a little salt component, the custard is incredibly rich and creamy and contrasts very nicely with the burnt caramelized top, and the little dustings of cinnamon powder and powdered sugar simply takes the whole thing to another level. Legendary for a good reason, with unmatched hospitality!! ❤️

This place is a little slice of heaven in SoHo, the most delicious tarts I've had in NYC... not mention the service is exceptional, spent the afternoon there after Brunch and it was the icing on the cake.

So so so so so good. The pasteis de nata are incredible. The croquetas are also really good. Grab a super bock, some croquetas and a pasteis and sit in the cute small window seat for a relaxed afternoon bite.

Those custards. Unbelievable. Fun fact, they sell them frozen so you can have them in your freezer and put them in the oven for 15 minutes. Perfect with your morning coffee.

This place has been on my list for so long and so glad I tried it today. Adorable little place with seats. Amazing Portuguese eggtart. So warm and aggy and buttery but good among of sweetness. Pair perfectly with tea or coffee. Plus, really friendly service/ owner.

Came here for the pasteis de nata, left with a smile. These tarts are amazing! A little bit different from what I know from Portugal, but really fantastic. Plus the service is sweet and heartfelt.

I stopped in here on a whim because when I walked by I saw Pastéis de Nata through the door. I only knew about these Portuguese pastries because I'm researching Portugal for an upcoming trip. I bought two of them which were so good I ended up going back and buying six more to bring home. I'll stop here again whenever I'm in the neighborhood.

Small storefront without much seating, but worthwhile to drop in for some quick bites. The ooey-gooey egg tart-adjacent deserts were really good. A sign in the store describes it as a cross between a creme brulee and a croissant, and it is a pretty apt description. The store also serves a handful of savory dishes such as beef/chicken/shrimp empanadas. Not exactly empanadas either, but you get the idea. Also very tasty.
