This course is by far the very best course out there! The curriculum is spot on with what you need in order to not only pass the exam, but retain the knowledge required in your field. I have tried other programs that just didn't work. I am now a licensed NC Residential Contractor thanks to My Contractors License - Online Prep Course! The study guides and videos along with real construction math make things so clear!

Long story......I had no experience with or very very little knowledge of general contracting. I was very hesitant on spending this much money (bought the whole package). After calling the company and reading the reviews I decided to purchase the program. I received everything in a timely manner. The 21 books were pretty intimidating at first. After starting the program it was very easy and seamless. From tabbing the pages and highlighting the key points, it was very easy. I purchased the program in July and took the exam in September. I had went through every line item in the program. From my take, company had held their end of the deal. Going forward it was on me to practice. I took the practice test, the book matching test, and utilized the study guide to get used to looking up the answers. From there I took the practice exam at least 6 times around 5-5.5 hours each time. The lay out of the practice test is exactly like the one for the license. I called the home office several times and was always greeted by a friendly person happy and willing to spend plenty of time helping me with my questions. It is only a few people in the office. You get to talk to the same person multiple times. They reached out to me the day before my exam to calm my nerves and go over a few pointers. The nascla most recent questions was a lifesaver! I arrived to my exam a few hours earlier and reviewed that part before entering the building. With all that being said I would recommend this coarse to anyone. If I can pass the exam the very first time, anyone can! The people with this company are great at customer service and seem like they love their job. It is a lot of money but I would have never came close to passing this exam with out them. Worth every penny!

I highly recommend My Contractors License prep course. If you follow the study guide instructions and take the practice tests and exams you will pass the test. I felt very prepared for the exam and was able to finish (and pass) the test in 1 hour 45 minutes. Great course!!

I passed my exam yesterday on the first try and I was the only one in my group that passed. It was obvious the others in my class did not use a prep course. One young man showed up with hundreds of post it note tabs in his books which are not allowed and all had to be removed. I have been in the construction industry for over 40 years and would have never passed the test without the prep course. I called and talked to Neil the day before I took the test and he wanted to look at my practice exams. He was impressed with my scores but was concerned with my times which were all between 65 and 90 minutes and he knew that I memorized the answers. DON'T JUST MEMORIZE THE ANSWERS! He asked me to take the exam again and spend at least 4 hours and find every answer in the books. PSI changes up the way they they word questions and add new questions. This last minute tip is probably the reason I passed. With thousands of pages of information I don't see how anyone can pass this test without a prep course. Thanks guys, Dan

The practice exam, material, and support, was invaluable. Passed the NASCLA yesterday and could not have done it without your system. Beyond what this course offers, you have to KNOW the books. Highlighting alone won't be enough. Knowing the Index, table of contents, and how to get to the information, along with practicing time management using My Contractors License practice exams, will get you a pass. Worth every dollar spent.
