These classes helped me prepare for the actual testing, on the structure of the test. Not just the information that needed to be learn, which was great too. But how the test laid out and how to use your time wisely! I highly recommend these classes for you if struggle with test taking, as I did. This really helped me on all spectrums of the test taking!

So glad I decided to use MyContractorsLicense. I passed both NASCLA and the NC business and law exam on the first attempt! NASCLA was tough and I am confident there is no way I could have done it without this program. You have to commit the time, but the system these guys have developed targets your learning and helps you learn how to take these exams. I would definitely recommend making the investment!

My first gratitude goes to my Heavenly Father for making this possible.I took the Georgia Residential Basic Contractor exam and My Contractor’s License preparation philosophy was spot on. I would say at the least 80 percent of the exam came from their resources. The only exception was the Blueprint questions. I answered 33 out of 85 questions to start off, but most everything that i didn’t answer I had seen those questions in the study guide. I sorted my questions by book relevance and I just knocked out each book one at a time. I knew before my test was graded that I had passed. Such a relief and gratitude to have passed this exam.

I would highly recommend My Contractors License for exam prep. Their print study materials and online NASCLA course was very thorough. The course kept up to date as some of the books were updated during the course. The format for the individual book practice tests cumulating with the general "final" exam were very similar to the actual exam. I felt completely prepared. Thanks!

This is the best way to study and prepare for the contractor tests. Hands down, if you follow the process you will pass the test. They also break it down into manageable timelines so you do a little at a time and are not overwhelmed. From start to finish it should take you about 3 months.

I passed my NASCLA exam on my first attempt. I studied for about 6 weeks to get ready following the prep course. I do have experience in the plumbing field, but I have relatively zero experience in construction. So, for me to be able to pass this test on my first attempt, I was elated. This is a hard test! The training material provided was spot on and the testing techniques that MCL teaches for actually taking the exam are invaluable. One happy lady in North Carolina!

Why drive when you can fly…. The system that Ron has developed fast tracked the studying process. Finding the time to study for the NASCLA was tough but the myContractorsLicense online course, practice tests, and check list system guided me thru each book and kept track of my progress. The book by book check list broke the NASCLA into small attainable goals. With multimedia options I was even able to listen and learn while cutting grass and doing yard work.

What can I say ? I had to pretty quickly prepare for a Contractors exam and used their product. The quality of the content and the instructions were great and I was comfortable going into the exam. After comparing the actual exam to what the course prepared me for, all I can say is the quality of their product is simply spectacular. Combine that with the follow up emails and phone calls and I am extremely happy with the purchase. As one more data point, my practice exams were between 88% and 92%. Actual exam was 89% so that should give you an idea of how well it prepares you. Highly recommended !!

I could not have passed my NASCLA exam and State law exam without these guys! Amazing staff and customer service. I came into my exam and studying with little to experience in construction besides hired labor in framing, siding and little roofing. Some shelter building for home projects as well. I can't say enough about the My Contractor's License, NC Builder's Course. I took my first test using another course, and it was terrible. My Contractor's License has several ways of getting the information in your head. Plus, they have a lot more information. I studied hard for about three weeks, and I feel like I answered almost every question right. You have the course on any device, so you can access it from anywhere and take quizzes and keep it all fresh in your mind. I knew going into my first test with the other course, after the first three questions, I was going to fail. Hardly anything on the whole test looked familiar. After using My Contractor's License, I had the best test experience. They teach you the best way to organize your test while taking it, so you're not fumbling through books and throwing them around. I was so calm and confident. I really hate that NC stopped giving grades when you pass. I feel like I deserve to know, lol! Another guy in the test room had taken the same course I had previously. He was on his fourth test, and it was total chaos over there. I felt so bad for him, because I knew what he was going through. I AM TELLING YOU, for a test as difficult at the NC Builders, YOU NEED THIS COURSE!!! Save yourself the stress and call them today! They are so nice and helpful!
