My ‘17 Soul(!) is not shifting properly.
-52k miles. June ‘19. $148. Perform transmission service (flush).
-60k miles. Aug ‘19. Fault persists, quoted $1566 to replace the clutch pack. (Not under warranty, clutch pack is a wearable item)
-61k miles. Oct ‘19. $1,735. Replace clutch pack.
-67k miles. Jan ‘20. Fault persists. Software update.
-69k miles. Feb ‘20. Fault persists. Reset the transmission adaptive values.
-71k miles. July ‘20. Fault persists. Quoted ~$450 replace intake manifold.
They have never been able to fix my cars problem. It’s ranged from definitely knowing what the problem is and charging me to fix it, to having no idea, now we’re just experimenting at my own personal cost.
They’re great guys, but the company has gone to impressive lengths to avoid fixing my car. This is my 3rd and last Kia.
