We got our golden retriever, Riggs, from Farmstead about 18 months ago and he’s been such a joy to our family!! He has a wonderful temperament and has a beautiful dark red color. The farm was very clean and Sadie was great to work with! Highly recommend.

If it wasn’t for Farmstead Kennels I would not have my beautiful, healthy, well socialized baby! The time and positive energy they put into their puppies is something amazing. We got our Boston terrier, Mookie, about a year ago from John. It was a great experience. She is healthy, energetic and has a great disposition. She is amazing with our children and our two other (100 lb) labradors.

We picked out our golden Chester back in early July and brought him home at the end of July at 9 weeks. He is a great lovable puppy and has done well with training and people so far. John and Sadie have exceptional puppies and a clean facility. You can tell they really care about their dogs and puppies. I would highly recommend them.

The staff at farmstead kennels were absolutely AMAZING! They gave me the most perfect Boston terrier I could ever ask for. Highly recommend.

Seamus came home with us just in time for Christmas. He’s our little shrimp kid and quickly stole our hearts with his big personality. He’s one of the most loving dogs I’ve ever known and enjoys spending his days on mom’s lap, usually snoring, loudly. When he’s not sleeping he’s a ball of adorable energy, which we expend at doggy daycare, the park, and hiking (he loves hiking). We feel tremendously lucky to have this little guy as our fur baby. He’s easily fit into our routine and helps us to remember life is wonderful and awesome, in Seamus’s world! Seamie is excited about everything and everyone; he LOVES making new friends, both four and two legged. He will give you kisses and make happy snorts when he greets you. We got our boy, George, here approximately 9 months ago and he is the love of our lives. George has more personality than any pug I’ve seen and he has an amazing temperament (he seriously loves everyone he meets and is a fearless little pug). Everywhere we go, everyone always fawns over George. We couldn’t imagine our life without this little man and hope to come here in the future when we get George a brother!

I highly recommend Farmstead Kennels! I picked up my golden retriever in May 2018 and she has a very even temperament and everyone comments on how beautiful she is! I found Farmstead through a Facebook search and was immediately impressed by their prompt communication and willingness to let me come and meet the parents of the litter. The facility was clean and the puppies were all clearly well cared for- I placed my deposit the same day and picked up my girl a few weeks later. She has not had any health issues since I picked her up, and is one of the easiest dogs I’ve ever trained. I boarded my puppy with Farmstead about a month after I got her, and there were no problems and they even gave me a daily update on her while I was on vacation. To this day, the owners of the kennel are still very prompt at answering my questions and messages, and I look forward to eventually bringing another one of their dogs home with me in the future!

Farmstead Kennels is a wonderful breeder. They are great people who run a clean facility and have a variety of puppy breeds. If you are looking for a healthy puppy in Southern MD I would definitely recommend them. This is our Gracee Puggle who we got in Nov 2016
