Farmstead is awesome! Our sweet golden came to us well socialized and with the best demeanor. We were highly impressed with the communication and process of bringing her home, and would highly recommend them! Our puppy is now 8 months and is gorgeous and easily trained.

We got our beloved Boston terrier pup, Boomer, there and it was the easiest and most wonderful experience! They are super knowledgeable and wonderful and the puppies are in a clean and safe environment with round the clock care. They made sure we knew and had everything we needed prior to taking him home. He’s 11 months now and just as healthy and happy as can be!

After losing my Cadie-pug to cancer, I was absolutely heart broken. It wasn’t long before I decided a house is not a home without being covered in pug fur. I found Farmstead and messaged Sadie. We were in the process of buying a house, and as fate would have it, John and Sadie had a litter that would be ready around the same time we closed. We made the trip to pick out our little one, and we were immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the facility. It would be a few weeks before she was ready to come home. The communication was top notch and they were quick to answer any questions I asked. We have had our little Penelope for three weeks now. She is so sweet and spunky. Everyone who sees her just loves her! I can not recommend them enough, and if a time comes that we ever get another, we will definitely choose Farmstead!

We got our pug from John and Sadie in November 2016. We live in Alaska, so I was really nervous about getting a pug from the lower 48. I would do it again in a heartbeat. When we picked her up she was so excited to see us, she started licking us immediately(we were strangers to her at this point). She cuddled with me the whole ride home and has been an amazing dog ever since we picked her up. She is very athletic and healthy-I couldn’t be happier. I look forward to getting another pup from them in the future.

Got Mimzy our corgi just about a month ago now and shes doing so well! She was brought to us very healthy and she is the smartest little girl and our best friend here at our house! She loves to play outside and has lots of energy! She's an amazing pup. Farmstead Kennel had very helpful staff and Sadie was very helpful with all of the questions we had. Totally recommend to anyone looking for a companion.

I got a baby Boston from here almost 2 weeks ago. It was a great and very easy experience dealing with John and Sadie. The place is clean and beautiful. I have a beautiful boy who is very healthy, active, and well adjusted so far. I would definitely buy again from John and would recommend anyone else to as well.

We brought home our welsh pembroke corgi from Farmstead almost 2 weeks ago and the whole experience was a delight from first contact to the day we brought our little Stuart home. Sadie was so kind and accessible from the very first phone call, answering any questions and emails promptly and keeping us updated on our little boy's progress with pictures and videos as we are over 5 hours from the site. It was worth the drive to see Sadie waiting out front with the most beautiful corgi puppy I had ever seen! He is a wonderful, calm, alert and healthy addition to our family and you could tell instantly that he had been well cared for at Farmstead. Thank you, John and Sadie for everything! I'll email you some pictures as soon as I get them downloaded, Stuart is growing and thriving beautifully!

My husband and I took home a Golden puppy a couple months ago, and he’s absolutely perfect! So smart, sweet and very well socialized. He’s absolutely fearless and honestly the greatest disposition. We get so many compliments on both his looks and how well behaved he is. Facility was clean and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a puppy!

Excellent service / beautiful & clean buildings. I met with John & Sadie Middleton. I drove from Long Island New York to them in Clement MD. I can tell you if I can give more then 5 stars I would without hesitation. Amazing staff that actually care for there animals & provide plenty of love. I bought a gray & white Boston Terrier & he is the most precious little puppy every. Well behaved and listens very well. All there pups look very very happy and are very active. If your outside of Maryland like I am, don’t worry at all it’s well worth the trip & I can promise you with my experience you will not be disappointed one bit!

We just got a Boston puppy from here yesterday. We got to go and visit them 3 times to make sure we got the puppy that best fit our personality. We already have 2 Bostons at home. The place is the most cleanest dog place I have ever been in. Everyone was so friendly especially John Middleton the owner. He answered all our questions we had and Everytime I sent a message I would get a response within a half hour. If your looking for a Boston or Golden retriever puppy I would definitely get one from here. I absolutely love this place and if we ever go away and need someone to care for our dogs I will only take them here. They interact with the dogs so much and the puppy was well socialized and is fitting in well already!!!
