I did this test when my youngest son asked if we could prove Irish descent. Was I surprised when the test showed no Irish, Scottish or Welch DNA! I was even more surprised when it showed I had significant French DNA and significant middle European DNA. I never would have known. I was also surprised at the percentage of German DNA I had but not the fact that I had it. It was an interesting result. I would recommend everyone test their DNA!
