Steve did an excellent job cleaning our chimney and sealing the pipe that leads to our pellet stove. He was courteous, knowledgeable and professional. I was extremely satisfied with his work.

We live in an old house with two chimneys and three fireplaces. They have not been serviced in many years. Through an internet search I found Northeastern Chimney Sweeps and I'm VERY glad I did. They sent Steve B. who performed a very thorough inspection which took an hour. Steve arrived on-time and was very courteous and professional. He patiently explained the several problems he found. He gave us a very fair and comprehensive estimate to fix everything, and he scheduled the work at a time convenient for us. Steve and Louis did a great job fixing a problem with our dryer vent. The vent was broken in several places leaving lint inside the our home. Steve and Louis fixed our potential fire hazard. They were very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. We had another company clean our dryer vent yearly and found that they did it incorrectly creating breakage in our vent. We have had Northeastern Chimney clean our fireplace as well. Always professional and knowledgeable. We recommend this company and will call on Steve to do our vent cleaning as we know he will take good care of us.

Andy showed up on time and did a great job walking me through what he was doing and was thorough with the chimney and stove cleaning. I liked that he brought an inspection camera so we could see what the inside of the flue looked like. Flue didn't look good, but good to know. The last cleaning I had did not include that level of inspection. Glad to have used their services.

Protective footwear, tarp, etc. from door to fireplace preventing any soiling of carpets and floor. Did a super job cleaning the stove insert and also inspecting the chimney. A super job done by Steven Bradway and his partner. They went above and beyond to complete a complicated dryer vent installation.

Very good service. The two men who came were polite, thorough and clear about problematic issues with a written summary.

Steve and Andy were professional, thorough and personable. This was our first cleaning of a fireplace insert with Northeastern Chimney. But they did way more than just clean the fireplace insert and liner. They started in the basement with the flu of our oil burner and then went on the roof. Last year we had a chimney liner for our oil burner installed by someone else, and after inspecting it from the top Steve and Andy informed us that it was very poor workmanship that would cause us problems very soon. We liked that Steve took pictures of the problem. He said the connector is galvanized steel instead of stainless steel and showed us where it is already rusting. He said the entire liner could collapse if it rusted through. Then he clearly explained what a proper installation should be. At our request he gave us a proposal for a new chimney liner to be installed by Northeastern Chimney and gave us a very good deal. Both Steve and Andy said they felt bad that the people who installed the chimney liner last year would do such a poor job. We feel fortunate to have found Northeastern Chimney and know they will take good care of us and keep our home safe. We highly recommend them.

Excellent, prompt service!

Have used Northeastern Chimney for several years for annual cleaning and maintenance. They are always professional and do a great job. We have a wood stove which adds a bit more into the usual cleaning mix - no problem. Over the years, various service techs have made recommendations for work that needed to be done and we never felt that we were being sold a sales pitch, have found that the work recommended should be done, and there is no pressure to do more than is required. Our most recent tech, Stephen, was helpful and informative. We have some maintenance issues that need to be addressed this year, but the fact that our chimney, flues and wood stove have consistently given us no problems over the years speaks volumes as to the care and maintenance that Northeastern has provided to keep things running properly.

Great guys. Had them come do a cleaning on my chimney at my new home. Since it was clean they just let me know, and did not charge me. Also gave me great options and information on the chimney cap that I ordered. Can't wait to have it installed.
