In its extended effort to bring more awareness to the importance of mental well-being at BC, UGBC is working on a campaign called Every Mind Matters. Every Mind Matters is a mental health awareness campaign which aims to destigmatize struggles with mental health for BC students. Our purpose for this campaign is to normalize reaching out to the many services BC provides to help cope with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. Our goal is to achieve this by photographing members of the BC community with a written message relaying their experiences and messages of hope. The photographs will be posted around campus and on social media by the start of the second semester. We hope to have a diverse group of students supporting this campaign, from all areas of campus life. Visit tinyurl.com/UGBCeverymindmatters to sign up for the photo session on Sunday, February 9th. If you are unable to attend the information session, please reach out to Ryan Bates at batesry@bc.edu for more information.
