Our Junior School Musical, A Year with Frog and Toad, recently took to the stage, and what a wonderful celebration of talent and friendship it was! The students poured their hearts into their dancing, acting, and singing, bringing this charming story to life and highlighting their God-given talents. With colourful costumes, catchy songs, and plenty of laughter, the production was a joy to watch. IPSHA PERFORMING ARTS FESTIVAL 2025 Our Junior School Musical cast proudly represented Mamre at the 2025 IPSHA Performing Arts Festival, held at Sydney’s historic Town Hall. Showcasing months of dedication and preparation for our upcoming Junior School Musical, our students shone brightly on stage. They were joined by many other schools in an incredible celebration of talent and the performing arts. YEAR 7 INFORMATION EVENING Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Year 7 Information Evening this week! STEPtember at Junior School Over the month of September, our Junior School students participated in Step4Schools to raise money and awareness for cerebral palsy 💜👟. With the support of our families, they stepped each day and raised a total of $4,081 for early detection and therapy. What an incredible achievement! YEAR 9 & 10 DESIGN TECHNOLOGY VISIT SYDNEY SCIENCE PARK Year 9 & 10 Design and Technology students had an inspiring day at the Sydney Science Park Field Day in Luddenham. Students explored the future of cities through hands-on activities focused on key themes like Smart Cities, Health, Energy, Transport, Circular Economy, and more. A standout moment was the bus tour of the future site of Mamre Anglican School, helping students connect their classroom learning to real-world urban planning. Armed with fresh ideas and activity booklets, our students are ready to bring new perspectives into their Architecture unit, turning inspiration into innovation! #mamrelearning

Congratulations to our first-ever group for successfully completing the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Practice Hike! It may have been several small steps for our students, but it represents a giant leap forward in our vision for student growth, resilience, and adventure. YEAR 12 VS STAFF Our annual Year 12 vs Staff Competition has been heating up here at Mamre. The football round saw a 7–1 win for the staff, with a notable mention to Mr Rodgers, voted Man of the Hour by the Junior School. It’s now all tied up at 1–1 with three rounds still to go… will Year 12 take the lead, or will the staff claim the upper hand? #mamrelearning

This week, our Pre-K students had bear-y special few days at their Teddy Bears’ Picnic! They enjoyed their lovely day in the sun playing all sorts of activities with their furry friends. These activities also helped build important skills while having lots of fun and sharing lots of smiles. 💛 💛 R U OK? Day 💛 💛 Today at Mamre Anglican, our Senior School came together to promote R U OK? Day. A bright reminder to check in, connect and support one another. In the lead-up, students explored the powerful message behind R U OK? Day during their Pastoral Care programs, learning how a simple chat can make a big difference. Throughout their journey, our Year 12 students have embraced challenges, celebrated achievements in academics, sport, service, and the arts, and shown resilience and leadership within our community. Our School community came together to say their heartfelt farewell to the Class of 2025. As they step into the next chapter, we honour not only their achievements but also the character, perseverance, and faith that define them.
