📣 This is the LAST week for you to sign up for our Compass Mentoring program! If you want to connect with other AHANA+ students, faculty, and staff then this is the right program for you. Compass begins with a day long retreat, and the whole program, including the retreat is free of cost to you! The link to the Compass application can be accessed through the link in our bio. For this weeks organization spotlight, we have the Women’s Center and one of our very own OLs! Meet Janasia and learn about the resources offered by the campus Women’s Center, from friendly staff, to retreats, to a safe for all students on campus.

Founded in 1973, The Women's Center, located in Maloney Hall, supports, educates, and empowers students of all genders in an inclusive and welcoming space. The Center's staff works to engage Boston College students through mentoring programs, events, and conversations that cultivate leadership, authentic relationships, and awareness of intersectional social justice issues.
Moving onto this week’s second club spotlight! For our next club we have the Bowman advocates and one of our very own OLs. Meet Ayana and learn about how her time in Bowman Advocates and it’s connection to the Thea Bowman AHANA Intercultural Center have helped to shape her journey and goals at BC.

Bowman Advocates for Inclusive Culture are student leaders who strive to support and empower the undergraduate student body in building a more inclusive Boston College community through cross-cultural dialogue. They are comprised Boston College sophomores, juniors, and seniors who have been trained by BAIC staff members to facilitate cross-cultural activities and dialogues with our peer community.
