#BC2024: Do you know which one of our 8 libraries is the oldest? It's the one and only Bapst Library which opened in 1925! Bapst is well known as a home for students looking for absolute quiet to study. In 1993, the library was designated as the Art Library and it continues to support the University's increasingly interdisciplinary teaching and research needs. The Bapst Library contains over 51,000 volumes, 150 serial titles, and provides access to hundreds of databases, electronic journals and books. Bapst offers approximately 400 quiet study spaces in a combination of individual carrels and tables. Plus, it feels like you’re in Hogwarts when you’re sitting among the Bapst stacks! #BC2024 #BC360

At BC, we use reflection as a tool to explore and grow into our best selves. It is not until we understand our own motivations that we truly become people for others. During this difficult time, we hope you feel called to reflect often and deeply. Let us know what you have been reflecting on these last few months in the comments below! #BeAttentive #BeReflective #BeLoving

Calling all Students of Color in the Class of 2024 Let us tell you a little bit about the Compass Mentoring Program: Compass resides in the Office of First Year Experience, and is a program that aims to support and celebrate our first year Students of Color (AHANA). This mentoring program is focused on helping you “find your direction” at BC so you can determine where you are and where you want to go as you embark on your college experience. In Compass, you will receive an junior or senior mentor that will help you with your transition to BC, and have the opportunity to meet fellow first year AHANA students through discussions surrounding identity, transition, relationships, BC culture, campus resources, and much more! Submit your application to be part of the Compass Mentoring Program starting June 1st! For more information visit www.bc.edu/compass or email us at bccompass@bc.edu with any questions! #BC2024 #BC360 #FindYourDirectionAtBC
