Congratulations to Joshua Manson, Year 11 student at MCCC. Josh represented NSW in the 2025 AFA (American Football Australia) Youth Flag Football National Championship, which was held at the AIS in Canberra recently. The NSW U17s Team ultimately became Flag Football Junior National Champions. As a result of Josh's hard work, determination, commitment, and skill set, he has now been selected for the first ever Australian U17 Boys Flag Football Team touring the USA in June this year.

As part of the YML's Harmony Week celebrations the College is running some cultural games during lunch. During lunch on Monday there was a game of LAPE (Samoan Ball Game) against the MCCC Cultural Group. LAPE is a baseball with a soft round ball you hit with your hand. The call went out for teachers keen to verse the students. Here is a snippet of the highlights! This inaugural match, the teachers came away with a 10-6 win!

Congratulations to our first-ever badged Year 8 Game Changers! These students have shown consistency and dedication by attending regular Game Changers meetings with our senior leaders as part of their commitment to the formation program. Well done!
