FOOD TECH |Last week, our Year 11 and 12 Food Technology students had the opportunity to learn from Dr Katherine Kent. Dr Kent is a public health nutritionist, researcher, and educator committed to improving food systems and health equity in Australia. As a Senior Lecturer at the University of Wollongong, she teaches across undergraduate and postgraduate nutrition subjects, with a focus on public health, food security, and nutritional epidemiology.
Students gained valuable insights into real-world applications of nutrition science and the importance of equitable access to healthy food.
