FRENCH SISTER SCHOOL | Madame Churchward visits our sister school in France - St-Charles Lycee and College in Orléans. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet with the Principal of St-Charles, along with several language teachers whom St Mary’s has warmly welcomed on past trips. Over a delicious traditional bistro lunch, we discussed the enduring partnership between our two colleges and how this collaboration enriches our students’ experiences — fostering not only language proficiency but also cultural appreciation and international mindedness. I was able to tour both campuses which are beautifully situated by the glorious Loire River. I was hosted by one of their language educators, Mme Julia Mulkerrin . She is a great friend of St Mary’s and has travelled with the St-Charles students on their visits to St Mary’s. The relationship between our colleges remains strong, and the warm welcome I received in Orléans has reinforced the professional and cultural friendship and connections which St Mary’s has with St-Charles. Au revoir, Mme Churchward
