DEADLY ENCOURAGEMENT AWARDS | Last Thursday, two of our Aboriginal students were recognised by the community and our Elders for their achievements at the 2025 Northern Illawarra Aboriginal Education Consultancy Group’s Deadly Encouragement Awards. Year 9 student, India Thomas received the Leadership Award for her advocacy for fellow Aboriginal students and her culture. Former Year 8 student, Sianna Badger received the Community Engagement Award for her teamwork and resilience in creating a book for sick children through the Write a Book in a Day competition. We’re so proud of their achievements and commitment to community and culture.
