PUBLIC SPEAKING | Earlier this term, six students from St Mary Star of the Sea College competed in the Rostrum Voice of Youth Public Speaking Competition, held at The Illawarra Grammar School. Gretel Alexander, Majella Griffiths, Edwina Jones, Sophie Mitrevski, Alexis Momirovski, and Rosalie Van Stralendorff joined students from across the region to deliver prepared speeches. Each student spoke with confidence and composure, presenting thoughtful ideas and engaging their audience with clarity and conviction. Their preparation and poise reflected the College’s strong public speaking tradition. Congratulations to Sophie Mitrevski, who has progressed to the next stage of the competition and will compete in the Regional Final. We wish her every success as she continues in the competition.
