FOOTBALL | Huge congratulations to Ruby Rowles (Year 9) and Grace Duggan (Year 10) on being selected by Football NSW to represent at the ‘Emerging Matildas National Championships’. The tournament will take place in Sydney from 18–24 April 2026, bringing together the top Under 15 and Under 16 female footballers from across the country. Pi Day | Today we celebrated International Pi Day (3.14). Our Maths staff joined in the fun by wearing Pi-themed T-shirts, bringing plenty of mathematical spirit to the day! At lunchtime we held a Pi recitation competition, where students challenged themselves to recall as many digits of π as possible. Congratulations to this years winner, Lola Flynn from Year 7 who amazed everyone by correctly reciting 209 digits an extraordinary achievement! To continue the theme of “everything round,” Ungunmerr-Baumann and Gibbons Houses sold Krispy Kreme donuts in support of Project Compassion, adding a delicious way for students to get involved while supporting a wonderful cause It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm for mathematics across the school as we celebrated the beauty and importance of numbers on this global day of maths.
