VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITY | Coniston Hub Space, (operated by the St Vincent de Paul Society NSW) is currently seeking local volunteers to support the important work they do. The Coniston Hub is open weekdays and provides a safe and supportive space for people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness, needing some assistance or needing help to maintain their housing.
Coniston Hub Space offers:
- Laundry and shower facilities
- Computer access
- Free food and meals
- Support from onsite case managers
- Referrals to services like Centrelink, health, employment, education, and more
They are currently looking for compassionate, reliable volunteers to assist with the following.
- Preparing and serving food and beverages
- Supporting people to access facilities
- Providing a welcoming and respectful environment
- Helping with practical tasks around the Hub
- Working alongside case managers and support staff
