WOMEN IN CAREERS CONVERSATION | Inspiring the Next Generation. On Wednesday, 12 March, Illawarra Sports High School hosted an exclusive Women in Careers Conversation, featuring an incredible panel of guest speakers, including an ED doctor, police officers, ADF personnel, engineers, truck drivers, and construction workers. This intimate discussion was by invitation only, bringing together a select group of students from various Illawarra schools for an inspiring morning of career insights and real-world experiences. A huge thank you to RIEP DETNSW for making this event possible through their funding grant, supporting St Mary’s students in 2025. #WomenInCareers #Inspiration #FutureLeaders

CELEBRATING CULTURE AND CONNECTION | As part of our interaction with inspiring women during International Women's Week, some of our Aboriginal students visited the Aunties at the Coomaditchie United Aboriginal Corporation, Port Kembla, for morning tea. Our Year 12 students were thrilled to showcase their jerseys, which feature elements of our mural created in collaboration with the Aunties. We are incredibly grateful for their warm hospitality and the enriching experience. Thank you, Aunties, and our Aboriginal Educational Officer, Ms Helena Hollamby, for facilitating the visit. #IWD2025 #InspiringWomen #Coomaditchie #CommunityConnection #CulturalHeritage #RespectAndRecognition #AboriginalEducation
