WINTER STAYOUT | Last night at St Mary Star of the Sea we hosted our annual Vinnie’s Winter StayOut, an inspiring event focused on raising awareness about homelessness. Students came together to pack an incredible 227 snack packs for St Vincent De Paul Wollongong! They also participated in activities that simulated life on the streets, gaining a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by those experiencing homelessness. A heartfelt thank you to Kelly from Vinnies, our guest speaker, who shared invaluable insights into the various aspects of homelessness. Students also took time to decorate rocks with messages of hope, spreading positivity and light throughout our community. It was a meaningful night of learning, empathy, and giving back!
