BOOK WEEK MAGIC | What an incredible day we had today celebrating the magic of reading for Book Week! From creative costumes to our ‘Write a Book in a Day’ competition, the spirit of storytelling and imagination filled the air at St Mary’s. Our Year 7 students together with Year 9, 11 & 12 leaders and Year 11 Vet Entertainment students transformed the SGN into a Giant Library, welcoming 150 Year 3 and 4 students from Wollongong Public School for a day of reading circles, quizzes, and a character parade that brought everyone’s favourite stories to life. Our talented students who took part in the ‘Write a Book in a Day’ competition worked tirelessly to write and illustrate books that will be donated to hospitals across Australia for sick children to read.
