CELEBRATION | Our College community gathered for a beautiful Opening Mass, setting the tone for a year grounded in faith, hope and connection. It was a joy to also celebrate our outstanding Alumnae High Achievers and to hear from two remarkable women of St Mary Star of the Sea.
We were incredibly proud to welcome back our College Dux, Nour Sultan, whose enthusiasm and commitment to excellence continue to inspire our students. Our High Achievers generously gave their time to host a Q&A with current Year 11 and Year 12 students, sharing valuable wisdom and advice as they prepare for their final year.
We were also honoured to hear from special guest alumna Julia Green (Class of 2005) an inspiring leader in STEM and healthcare.
Julia is a medical physicist and healthcare leader dedicated to expanding equitable access to cancer care. A University of Wollongong graduate and 2019 Young Alumni Award recipient, she has held senior leadership roles including Chief Medical Physicist in Darwin and now works to ensure Australians have access to world-class cancer technology. She is passionate about encouraging young women to pursue careers in STEM.
Her message of courage, service and striving for excellence resonated deeply with our students. Julia also spent time with our STEM students in an engaging Q&A session, inspiring the next generation of women in science.
We thank Nour, Julia and our High Achievers for so generously sharing their journeys and reminding our girls that with faith, determination and compassion, they can make a meaningful difference in the world.
