MARINE STUDIES | What an incredible day of exploration for our Year 11 Marine Studies 1 and 2 Unit students! Students embarked on an unforgettable excursion to Bass Point, diving deep into the wonders of the marine world. Starting off with a snorkelling adventure at Bushrangers Bay, students were well-prepared thanks to their practice sessions at the Continental Pools. Under the guidance of Awie, Neil from 'Dive Near Me', and Scott, an experienced free diver and photographer, they immersed themselves in the beauty of the underwater realm, encountering fascinating creatures like the Grey Nurse Sharks up close! In the afternoon, the exploration continued as students completed a study of the rock platform at The Shallows. With keen eyes and curious minds, they observed the diversity and abundance of organisms inhabiting this unique ecosystem. #MarineStudies #Exploration #OceanDiscovery #Education #BassPointExpedition #SMC
