ASH WEDNESDAY | Students gathered in their House groups today for their Ash Wednesday Liturgy. House Captains led the liturgy, assisted by student readers. The combination of Scripture, reflections, distribution of ashes and music created a very prayerful and reverent experience for the College community.

CARITAS | "Today, Social Justice Captains Olivia Sheppard and Yasmine Salem represented the College at the Diocesan Launch of Project Compassion at John Therry Catholic College. Joined by representatives from schools across the Diocese, they gathered with the Bishop Brian Mascord to learn about the impactful work of Project Compassion. The message resonated deeply: to do things for and with love rather than seeking glory. As Lent begins tomorrow on Ash Wednesday, let's embrace the spirit of giving and compassion. Project Compassion, running throughout Lent, is a vital fundraiser for Caritas, dedicated to improving the lives of those in need worldwide. Join us in supporting this important cause through online donations, Tutor Group boxes, and engaging in fundraising activities like Rice Day. Together, let's make a difference! #ProjectCompassion #Caritas #Lent #SocialJustice"
